Problems with 'Fixed Payment Charge'

Oldeman

Recommended Posts

I just installed this module, however nothing has changed. When the payment type COD has been selected no extra charge is added to the order total.

Does somebody know what I have to do (I have followed the instructions!).

Regards,

Liesbeth

Have you enabled the module in admin.

If not go to admin->modules->order total.

Enable the fixed payment charge by clicking on the green status button. You will also have to set the sort order.

Note also, the sort order must nat be th same as the sort order of any other order total module.

Also the position you have placed it suggest you want tax charged on the extra charge. This should be selected in admin as well.

Ok, final go

In the 'payment type' box you should have a string that looks like

cod:10

note cod should be lowercase and of course you would need to set the amount as appropriate.

I have solved the problem. Indeed something seems to be wrong with the tax code, because when I don't select any tax, this module is not working.

So now I have selected one........it is working!

Thanks for all your help, may be you can look again at the tax code.......
