smithveg
I had this problem (no flags/no buttons) on this server:HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) FrontPage/4.0.4.3 PHP Version: 4.1.2 (Zend: 1.1.1) EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT!!!! (...also the chmod-changing from 755 to 707.......) ...but i tried everything (!) to make the flags/icons visible. In the end I had to delete the .access in the includes-directory. I throwed an blank html-file into it. Now it works. I'll post this under tips and tricks. :D Can someone come back to me. After i had configure the global variables, all the images in ../includes/languags/english/buttons/ never shown up. I can not find the .access in ../includes directory. But i did tried to add inedx.html and index.php. It doesn't work either. Can someone helps me. Thank. **** Hello World! ^.^ I'm a Internet naive. Mrs Minx
Hi, I am having exactly the same problem. I have checked EVERYTHING and all is correct, yep running on Apache too - I have added the contributions SEO and on-the-fly-thumb - so there are many different html_output.php files. Check out the button problem here: www dot equineinternetsupplies dot co dot uk eworkflow I think had the answer to this, but I am unsure of what code to add to stylesheet.css I have added a blank index.html file as instructed and deleted the .htaccess - but this hasn't made a difference. Anyone have any answers? If so please share it would be great to see the site finalised :) Thanks! ---------------------------------------- Minxy :) "Keep plodding on to achieve your dreams"

Guest
I should read more carefully. :-( what can i do if i cannot find this .htaccess file?
wickeddivine
Yes. Test this:In the includes directory you will find a file called .htaccess. Delete it. And add an empty index.html to includes and all subdirectories to avoid that people can list the content of these directories. There is a known problem with some apache configurations that prevents apache from getting the images from the includes/languages/[langugae]/images. HTH This resolved my missing buttons problem as well. Thank you.
Qim
This resolved my missing buttons problem as well. Thank you. Why not just copy the content of /images/buttons to /images and remove the preceeding "button_" from the images? No need to change anything else...
