Color options for website

I am setting up a makeup website store and items like lipstick have over 30 different colors and I know there is the product attributes where you have to add each one at a time which would take forever for each item. Is there another mod or way to simplify this for me???

No, that is the best way. However, you can install contributions like the Attributes Sorter/Copier and Attributes Manager that will allow you to handle them easier for each product.

ok, so websites like Macy's and Saks 5th avenue do it the same way? Seems like a ton of work. I thought that maybe there would be a way to copy and past the colors in and it would create the attributes for you. then you just add the product to the attibute. Just an idea. :)

I don't know how they do it but if they use oscommerce then that is most likelu how they do it. You only need to create the attribute once. Then you can use Attributes COpier to copy them to another product, Attributes Manager to add them to another product or Easy Populate to upload them to all of the products at one time. I'm sure there are other solutions too. The point it, once the attributes are set up, adding them to various products is easy.
