PayPal Redirect

i've been having a problem with some orders using paypal. i receive the paypal payment, however i don't receive an oscommerce invoice nor is the order processed on the store. my customers have mentioned that after they send the payment, they are not redirected back to the store to complete the order. does any know about this error and how to resolve the issue.

The problem is the standard worry with PayPal - only some kind of pre-storing contrib will help. There are others which help to store / retriev carts, but the above is specifically for PayPal. It won't solve the email / stock update problem, but at least you'll have a copy of the order in admin.

There is another solution. Install the Better Paypal Description contribution. This will forward the product description to PayPal. In doing so what was ordered will be contained within PayPals' notification of payment e-mail in the item/product title section and also in the record for the sale on their site.

 

This has saved me countless times.
