dandelion
I have just transfered hosts and ftp'd all the old site files to the new server so that while I develop the new site in /catalog using osCommerce the old site still would be active and content available to copy over but - ahhhhhh what a mess the .asp files aren't working on the new host. I know nothing about asp at all. Can someone point me in the right direction please. My host company has been so wonderful till now they have redesigned the site and the online chat is gone and no telephone support - grrr. what is asp? what do I need to do to get the files working with the new host - do all hosts run asp? :'(
Guest
asp is a microsoft scripting language.. i'm pretty sure it isn't free and is the reason most hosts don't have it. i started with asp as my first introduction to active scripting and i hated it. php is so much more flexible and easier to find compatible hosts
