How to install the UPS shipping module

Glauser

Recommended Posts

I'm new at this so thanks in advance.

In my control panel / shipping modules listed is

Flat Rate

Per Item

Table Rate

USPS

Zone Rates

I ship by UPS primarily, but use USPS for international and PO Box orders ONLY.

Where can I find the UPS module settings?

And how do I set it up so that USPS is only available for international and PO Box orders?

THANK YOU!!!

UPS should be on the list. Check to see that catalog/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php exists on your server. You may need to reload the file if it is corrupted.

Restricting USPS to international can probably be done by creating a zone and assigning that module to it. You may need the "rest of the world" zone contribution to do that. Unfortunately there is no way to detect a PO Box, so assigning that is not possible.

I jsut downloaded the ZIP from the site and installed osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 051113.

Unfortunately, there is no

catalog/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php

in the ZIP. However, there is a

catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ups.php

Is it okay to copy that to the lower folder and use it?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I tried it and that didn't work. I ended up going to another site that I manage, and getting

catalog/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php

from it. Hopefully it wasn't updated.
