Hi,

I rececently installed the kennith's zang canada post shipping module. However whenever i go to checkout, and choose my shipping choice, its shows this:

Canada Post

Cannot reach Canada Post Server.

If you prefer to use canadapost as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

I contacted my host to see if port 30000 was open, and it was.

Here are the settings for the module:

Canada Post Parcel Service

Enable CanadaPost Shipping

True

Tax Class

--none--

Enter CanadaPost Server IP

206.191.4.228

Enter CanadaPost Server Port

30000

Enter Selected Language-optional

en

Enter Your CanadaPost Customer ID

CPC_DEMO_XML

Enter Turn Around Time(optional)

36

Thanks

let me know if they confirm its open please. Im thinking of switching servers for this and Im pretty sure thats the problem but you never know.

Well i talked to my host, and they opened the port (they opened 3000 before, instead of 30000) and it dosnt show that error anymore. But now i have another error!

XML parsing error.

If you prefer to use canadapost as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

But yes, ask your host if they can open the port for you, if they say no, then the only thing you can do is switch hosts.
