Reala
Well I just installed 'UK Switch + CVV collection V1.6' I think where I went wrong is that all the files that I installed I literally just clicked on overwrite. And because we are using the latest version of OScommerce, I think the paths and stuff was probably not all the same as back then (Aug 2005). Our site: http://www.dummyphones.co.uk/catalog/ As you can see we get a 'cannot connect to database' error, before I installed the module, all was working fine and stuff. I do have backups, but I can't even access the admin panel, I get the same error "Cannot Connect to database" =( Please help, we really need this sorted out - Boss might kill me otherwise >.>
VectorSix
I would imagine that you still have access to the files themselves one way or another, FTP possibly? I am not familiar that mod, but it sounds like you overwrote your configure.php files. There are two, one is for your catalog, and one is for your admin: /catalog/includes/configure.php /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php Download them and post them here. Remove the passwords prior to posting and we'll see what we have.
crash3903
check those files for the database connections and see if they are correct Quote Regards Mark A Reynolds
timetomove
I had the same prob. Its because you uploaded a new version of the catalog/includes/configure.php file go back to the install wizard and re-enter your database info.
