STS Template Issue I can not crack

I do not know what the problem is nor can I figure it out. I am using STS template and I have added several custome variables already however everytime I try to add one now the whole website just disappears. It just goes completely blank when you hit the front of the site.

This is what I have been putting in it is supposed to pull an info box for a rss feed.

 

I just cant seem to see what is wrong here if someone can help please

I've been using an RSS feed infobox that had a lot of "die" in the code, killing the site when there was a problem with the XML file containing the datas. You are probably using the same contribution! For now I'm not using this infobox, and one day I'll fix it... when time.
