scotch33
I have a shop that needs to include two extra fields in the products - they are for use in a calculator applett for customers to work out price and needs. Specifically - PRICE PER METER and METERS PER PACK Does anyone know of a good contribution that will allow me to add extra product fields? I am aware that my other option is to learn msql and do it by hand - but I have never touched it b4 and don't want to make a mess! If however I do go down that route is my assumption that I would .. A. add the two new fields to the appropraite table in the Dbase using the appropriate mysql command B. call those fields on the products page (using the syntax I should be able to follow in the php already in the page) C. do stuff with it as I see fit correct? Oh god I hope there's a contrib! Cheers guys! Scotch
Guest
You were so close with your name - its actuall called Products Extra Field - found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...+product+fields good luck! P.S. when you get your applet working, why not upload it as a contrib?
