Building a table rate for these amounts

Some help converting the following into a table for the table rate module

< 249g = $2

250g - 499g = $4

500 - 999g = $8

1kg - 1.499kg = $10

1.5kg - 1.99kg = $12

2kg - 2.499kg = $14

2.5kg - 2.99kg = $16

with additional 500gs adding an extra 2 dollars onto price

Thanx for your time

Dyno66,

249.0:2.00,499.0:4.00,999.00:8.00,

You must work in the same units...so you need to convert kg into g and

than continue where I left off... I think that you can see the pattern...

Hope this helps

Can I not use this convention?

0.250:2.00,0.500:4.00,1:8.00,1.5:10.00,2:12.00,2.5:14.00,3:16.00

For the above weights.

Dyno66,

Yes as long as you work with the same unit of measure...The weight

in your shipping is mapped to your product weight when you set your

products up...remeber to disable the tar weight in the shop setup...

or possible the tar weight will add into your total weight...This depends

on the shipping module you use...You will notice this if the shipping weight total is a little higher than what you expected...If it comes out

correct then ignore the tar weight..

Good luck

I'm using osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 051112 Update Released.

Which measure I must use and set at product weight. Kilogram or gram?

It's entirely up to you how you define the weight units... osC just adds up the numbers.
