# Shipping table

## Recommended Posts

Hi, I was wondering if any one could help me, I am trying to set up my shopping cart with the shipping table method. This is what I have in there:-

1:1.10,2.5:3.95,5:8.00,10:11.25,20:15.00,30:20.00

Is this correct, when I have something that ways 1kg it should be 1.10 if over 2.5 it should be 3.95

When I add the weight for a product, like 1kg it comes up with ?8.

Am I doing something incorrect.

Thanks

Ashley

up to 1 kg = 1.10

from 1 kg to 2.5 kg. = 3.95

from 2.5 kg to 5 kg. = 8.00

etc.

Check your admin->configuration->shipping/packaging for the Package Tare Weight setting. You probably have that set to the default 3 which means that those 3 kg. will be added to the product weight of 1 kg. Together that makes 4 kg. and 4 kg. costs 8.00 according to your table. And that is correct.

I found answer for "Shipping Table Rate"

It's you have to input with "Pound"

Your package tare weight in admin is probably set at 3 (default install of osc).

You should change this to reflect what your actual tare weight is, so it is product weight plus packaging weight.

In the weight box on the product enter the product volume.

Then you can set up the table with rate for volume.
