OS_Tim
Things are working, however, I have my /admin/ section locked with ht access. The following files are trying to be pulled from the admin/includes/ requireing an ht access login. Can't these following gif's be pulled from the supplier directory??? The reason for installing this is to not give someone access to my admin . . . These gif's are pulled from the following the location when a supplier is logged in to add a product: admin/includes/languages/english/images/buttons/ button_back.gif button_new_category.gif button_new_product.gif Does this have to do with the: define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', '../admin/includes/'); Line in the configure file? I have tried to change it to: define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', '../supplier/includes/'); and even put all the folders and images under the supplier category. Still pulls those gifs from /admin/ Anybody know what's going on? TIA
moshun
I have downloaded this contribution, and I am trying to get it to work. I am able to see and adjust the supplier box and I am able to see the admin login box. However when I try to login I get the following error 1146 - Table 'l_osc2.TABLE_SUPPLIERS' doesn't exist select * from TABLE_SUPPLIERS where suppliers_name = 'test' and suppliers_password = 'password' Can any one assist me with this problem? Thanks moshun

Jupiters
i decided not to use this one because of security...rochedalemark - the author - seems to be lost. he warned to use it before 1.0 . did anyone work on this further on? alternativ could be: admin access 2.0. although there is no possibility to see orders
leoperez
Hi to all, I have some questions. Anyone have done a logout file for this module? I have tried to do it but i havent luck. When the administrator create a new supplier in admin, he can adjust the Suppliers percentage, but when the supplier enter in the suppliers area, he can put the prices he want and then the system show the Supplier price in the index shop. Then, what is the supplier percentage for? Thanks, Leo.
swiftmed
Hello Guys, First of all, absolutely brilliant contribution....exactly what i have been looking for, so well done and keep up the good work. I have some mods i want to add to the contribution on my store and was wondering if one of you experts will be wiling to carry out the work for me, and i pay you via paypal asap please? Basically my version of the store is going to be for car sales suppliers to add their available cars to the website as an "advert". Basically when a supplier wants to add one of their available cars to our website, i want to charge them for doing so. So basically they pay for each car they add to the website. can somebody tell me if this is possible, if so, could someone walk me through doing it, or do it for me at a cost, i am willing to pay via paypal immediately before you start the work. Many thanks and i look forward to hearing from you.
Guest
Hi Gr8 MOD, keep up the good work! One question: Is there meant to be an extra table or field within the products table as I get this error: 1146 - Table 'oscommerce.TABLE_ADDITIONAL_IMAGES' doesn't exist SELECT additional_images_id, popup_images, images_description FROM TABLE_ADDITIONAL_IMAGES where products_id = '72' I have looked throughout the database but there is no table that refers to additional images. Hope someone can help. BTW: how far off is v1.0? Rob
Guest
Oh, the file that produces the error is supplier_s_categories.php?cPath=26. Also, every time that the page loads in it puts in a request to www.ideal-handlng.com. Should it be doing this?
driftwood
I have a need for this type of contribution but I need to know if it works before I add it to my long list of things todo. Someone mentioned that it was intended for cre, is that so or is the another version for cre as I have a shop that uses cre. TIA. Tomcat
Hi, I wanted to use this contribution for my shop. I have installed it in local and found out that is a bit messy. Is anybody still working on it ? or , as far as you know, are there alternatives to admin suppliers ? Thanks Quote Outside links in signatures are not allowed! I failed to determine which contribution/mod added these TABLE_ADDITIONAL_IMAGES so I took it out and replaced it with the Ultra Images Mod by MAxidDVD Quote WHO AM I WHERE AM I I AM SO SMALL WHEN AM I I AM SO FLEETING INSIGNIFICANT TO THE POINT OF NOTHING I AM THE MEASURE OF ALL THINGS WHEN YOU READ ME YOU UTTER MY NAME WHO AM I

Is anybody still working on it ? or , as far as you know, are there alternatives to admin suppliers ? Thanks I think the new ones are those in /supplier/ I've also installed the contrib, but it's very messy for the moment... I'll let you know Quote Outside links in signatures are not allowed! Sinbadsurf
Hello I've installed this contribution. Now I have some questions how to add new Suppliers. There are some fields which need better description like: - Suppliers ID (<0!): (in DB this represents the value for: suppliers_group_id) - Suppliers percentage(>0%): - Suppliers categories:
Sinbadsurf
I give up! Installing this contrib is very difficult. My tipp for everyone who anyway wanna give a try, here are some infos which are no where mentioned: - you need to copy the general.js in to the required folder this is missing. Find out which folder it is. this is no where mentioned - you need to rename index.php to supplier_area.php, I think this needs to be changed in supplier_categories... (sorry don't have the files available right now) - somewhere at the beginning of this thread you'll find a post which tells you to copy images. therefore you should browse all previous contrib versions of this contirbution, in some file you'll find them. There were several other things which need to be done, but they are no where mentioned.
