The problem is in the page http://localhost/catalog/admin/orders.php, after an order with paypal, the paypal transaction table always write no informations : ---- Transaction Activity Date Status Details Action Gross Fee Net Amount No PayPal Transaction Information Available (74806c03d51fcd4299ffa3d946545db9) ---- But the paypal transaction well done. I get this both with running it live or with the sandbox. I went back to a fresh install and that didn't help. I wonder what versions people are using that have this working. I've tried oscommerce-2.2ms2-051113 and PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.1.5, auto return works fine, PayPal processes all but on the return to osCommerce: no emails are sent and the order is not updated as complete. Papabruin 0 Posted February 9, 2006 I did a test to figure out if the problem was at the PayPal end. So I installed an old version of osCommerce that went back to 6/2003 and PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN 2.9. The results were that on return the Admin's "Orders" were updated - PayPal was shown as completed and the "PayPal IPN" also now showed the order. The thing that did not work was the stock osDowloads ... upon return no download information was visable, until you reloaded the page, then it appeared. I have been searching the forums and it seems to be affecting both the official PayPal IPN module and the one by DevOSC (3.15). It does not seem to affect everyone, but I think it must be on PayPal's side. Also, how do I receive an IPN? When I go to admin->customers->Paypal IPN, there is nothing there. However, the customer has paid me correctly, as this is registered with my paypal account. Is there some kind of difference between an IPN and a normal payment? If so, how is an IPN made? Forgive me for my ignorance. Thanks!
