Now to the facts, I have tried (last week or so) to get my admin area password protected, I have looked at all the files, tried every thing, I either get an error, or it does not work at all, is there a very easy way ( just learning PHP) to alow only the Admin (me) to get into the admin area? Thanks I use "ADMIN ATECNO" contribution that provides some features such as: - Login box, password forgoten and logoff account - Create/edit/delete admin account with group - Create/edit/delete groups - Define boxes and files permission for each groups - Add/remove boxes and files - My Account: edit admin account - Automatic display accessed boxes and files (Left Menu) - Email notification when create admin account - Also includes new buttons (Plastic type), new colors and icons. If not, search the forums for htaccess and password protection since there are several easy ways to do it that have been posted many times.
