Why 3(///) when return to index page?

Sorry for such a newbie question! There may be some kind of similar questions already existed, while I cant find anything.

I just installed osCommerce for a couple days, but I found there always be 3(///) whatever links return to the index page. It also exists even when displaying product pages. Is there any way to remove 2 of it? Wondering if thats possible.. please anyone help! Thanks in advance.

look in your catalog\includes\configure.php file probably the paths aren't defined. (Don't post here any username/password info from these files)

I defined the links as 3(///), and now iv changed it to 1(/) n it works fine!
