OSplayer 2.1 folder problem

Recommended Posts

I am using OSplayer v2.1

When ever I try and create a folder for a product to add mp3s to it, I get this error:

current path: /home/website/public_html/home/data/mp3/

ROOT_FOLDER_ERROR

Anyone know where the problem may be?

thanks

I'm in the process of installing the same contribution.

I think your problem is that the pathe to mp3 should be /home/website/public_html/home/catalog/data/mp3/

not /home/website/public_html/home/data/mp3/

Do you have a catalog folder where you store is installed?

Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!!

You did do a backup? eh?

I am also getting the same error.

I've installed my OSCommerce in the directory /sales and not /catalog

All files have been installed to that directory

I've managed to isolate what could have cause the problem. I had to set the permissions for the root folder to 777 and it worked.

Now, after creating the mp3 files, I'm going to reset the permission to 755 and hopefully, it will still work
