Hi All,

Yes! Thank you.

What I did was copy the /catalog/admin/product_thumb.php, and replace it with the /catalog/product_thumb.php.

Everything works fine now.

Excellent contribution. Thanks.

Hello,

I got 2.2 working great. One question tho, when it creates a thumbnail, its smaller than I would like. I was just wondering where or if I can change the settings to the size of the thumbnail.

Thanks,

Kevin

Do you mean the 'New Products for..' module? I don't use it so maybe I forgot to add that feature. It's very simple to use that code I gave to add more controls, just follow the same instructions but change the SQL to be relevant to the new products module. It all depends if you want the image sizes to be separate or the same size as another type. you might just get away with changing the default installed image settings in my store > images.

Have you read the previous 2 or 3 pages of this thread? There were some people who has problems but managed to sort them out. It's usually something silly.

Rich,

I have checked the previous page. And got the problem fixed. Man! that was hell! Since I had followed the instructions so steadily, I got the problem. The point here is that you have to use the produc_thumb.php of admin directory for both admin dir and catalog dir.

Great! Thank you so much Rich! ;)

Kiddo

ps: then so why the heck that we cant just edit the instruction so no more ppl will rush into my problem!?

I didn't realise the was a problem with the instructions. I just thought people were making mistakes. How arrogant of me, I do apologise. Let me fix those instructions.

Hold on a minute. Are you sure it is the instructions that are wrong?

I have check and this is what it says:

Step #5 - Add the files

Put the file catalog/product_thumb.php into catalog/

I've checked the actual files and they are correctly placed in catalog and admin. What is the problem here?

It's Easter weekend anyway! Take some time off and enjoy yourself! Hope you all have a great weekend.

Love and grease,

Rich

Edit: Love and grease, what was I thinking?

Hi Psynaptic,

the problem isn't in the instructions but in the product_thumb.php (catalog file). See the contribution 2.2.2 Catalog product_thumb bug fixed.

Bye
