Help with SSL!!

Hey guys,

I have installed everything correctly. Windows Server 2003, latest version of Apache, MySQL and Mod_SSL and OPenssl. Now when i try to create the key i get a openssl.cnf cant understand. Can anybody be willing to help me please? Thanks alot!

Is this for your production cert ?

 

yes - why are you raising the key - host should do this for you

 

No - how did you raise the csr - the same process should have raised your key

1. Your site has to be ip based on a shared server.

2. In the Ensim control panel (cPanel similar), click to generate a self-generated certificate, and this will then generate a CSR which you can take with you to purchase your full cert, after which you 'Import' the full cert into the same area of your control panel. Reboot the server to update the httpd files and you're done.

I do not have Ensime or Cpanel at all on this server. It is strictly a Windows 2003 Server thats it. I had looked into Cpanel but found that I didnt think I needed it. This server only hosts one website. I am willing to pay for someone to help me finish this. Its getting pretty high priority around here.
