richhoward Posted May 19, 2005 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Do you guys know of a way I can go in and schedule an execution to update the easy populate and insert a .txt file and insert into DB? I will have a drive mapping with the file name so it would be for isntance W:\EasyPopulate.txt to go in and upload via the upload feature and upate the products with the inventory, pricing..etc? Guest Posted May 20, 2005 Share Posted May 20, 2005 i suggest learning about 'CRON', which is an operating system operation, or if on Windows, the 'AT'. There is some info on setting up cron jobs in tips and tricks, once you learn how to schedule a normal job then figuring how to do the key clicks, as well as setting up th EP file for proper xfer and you are good to go.
