Guest
Hi all, I have been looking around for a long time for this. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to make all of my items have different shipping prices depending where they live. For example, I would charge buyers a flat postage rate depending on where they live. For UK it would be ?1.99, Europe would be ?2.99 and worldwide would be ?3.99. Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks
MPeace
I remember having this problem. All the european/rest of world country codes have to be inserted together as one zone. I setup two shipping modules Standard Rate and Express Rate and then added the zones to them Here is the string for the rest of the world. ZW,ZM,ZR,YU,YE,EH,WF,VI,VG,VN,VE,VU,UY,UM,US,AE,UG,TV,TC,JO,JP,JM,IL,IQ,IR,ID,IN ,HK,HN,HM,HT,GY,GW,GN,GT,GU,GP,GD,GH,GM,GA,TF,PF,GF,FJ,FK,ET,ER,GQ,SV,EG,EC,TP,DO ,DM,DJ,TN,TT,TO,TK,TG,TH,TZ,TW,SY,SZ,SJ,SR,SD,PM,SH,LK,GS,ZA,SO,SB,SG,SL,SC,SN,SA ,ST,WS,VC,LC,KN,RW,RE,QA,PR,PN,PH,PE,PY,PG,PA,PW,CU,CI,CR,CK,CG,KM,CO,CC,CX,CN,CL ,TD,CF,CY,CV,CA,CM,KH,BI,BF,BN,IO,BR,BV,BW,BO,BT,BM,BJ,BZ,BB,BD,BH,BS,AU,AW,AR,AG ,AQ,AI,AO,AS,DZ,AF,PK,OM,MP,NF,NU,NG,NE,NI,NZ,NC,AN,NP,NR,NA,MM,MZ,MS,MN,MA,FM,MX ,YT,MU,MR,MQ,ML,MV,MY,MW,MG,MO,MY,LR,LS,LB,LA,KW,KR,KP,KE The database wouldn't take it so I just increased the size of the database field. Here is Europe AL,AD,AM,AT,AZ,BY,BE,BA,BG,HR,PL,PT,RO,RU,SM,SK,SI,ES,SE,CH,TJ,TR,TM,CY,CZ,DK,EE ,FO,FI,FR,FX,GE,DE,GI,GR,GL,HU,IS,IE,IT,UA,UZ,VA,KZ,KG,LV,LI,LT,LU,MK,MT,MD,MC,NL ,NO and obviously UK is GB. MPeace
Which DB tables did you have to lengthen?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry it was a field in a table that I had to lengthen to fit in all the countries of the rest of the world. I changed configuration.configuration_value from varchar(255) to text. It is not an idea solution, but it works. Quote Matt Peace
myideal
Ive just made the same trick work by mod. of a shipping zones one, replacing all other weights apart from 0 - hence giving the lowest cost always. However thanks for the country codes.

myideal
So you want the shipping to based on the price that your customer is paying? If so then I think the same trick as above can be used, however us the minmim order value option to set aditional add ons to the postage rate. rgloverd
Hi, I want the same as the orignal post here, but I also want the postage rate to differ for products in different categories? any ideas. Maybe it would be easier to set the postage rate on each product but is it possible to set 3 different postage rates for each product?
