Guest
I have a (potentially stupid) question about the currencies box, and its function. My store and credit card processing are located in the USA. Therefore, I have only ever really done business in USD. My question is--if a customer chooses "Euros" as their form of currency, and their order processes in Euros, will the system bill them and/or process them and convert to USD before it enters my bank? Am I making sense? I'm not sure how it works. Will I need to convert the amount to USD and manually process it to the card? Or...? Maybe a more enlightened user can help explain this to me. Along this same line, is there a way to completely remove the Currencies choice box completely, if I decide it's better not to have the option to change at all? Guest
depends upon your payment processor
noelc
But generally the currency box acts as a currency converter for customer's convenience. You can choose to process orders in foreign currencies once received but usually you would process in your local currency (for simplicity's sake)
