spoot

sessions/cookies problem?

Recommended Posts

Hi -

I've looked over all the information I can find for this error. All appears to be ready to go - but I can't add a thing to my cart. This is a new error on an old installation, and the ISP claims they've made no recent upgrades.

I reinstalled in an effort to get a clean config.php, but to no avail. Still can't add to cart.

The relevant settings, as I understand them, are:

register_globals = on

Force Cookie Use False

Check SSL Session ID False

Check User Agent False

Check IP Address False

Prevent Spider Sessions False

Recreate Session False

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');

PHP Version 4.3.4

OSC version 2.2

Any assistance, pointers, etc. are greatly appreciated. My client is none too happy about this recent development, let me tell you.

Thank you -

Michael

Also: the site is setting an osCsid cookie. If I delete the cookie, it gets replaced when I refresh a page. It seems it's just not being read.

The osCsid stuff is also getting written to the sessions table in MySQL. Again, it's being written, but it's not being read.

Any clues, please let me know. Thanks -
