Guest
I'm trying to install "How Did You Hear About Us". I've copied all of the files from the contribution site into store. Even though I've uploaded the files nothing has changed on the site...the "how did you hear about us box" is not yet appearing. I'm not sure how to proceed. I read something about changing the update.sql but I'm not sure what needs to be done or where to put it. Is that why it's not working yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Guest
FYI...This is the part of the instructions I don't understand: "In the temporary unzipped directory you will find a .sql file. This contains the mysql configuration data for the manufacturers_info table. Please update your database accordingly via however method you are most comfortable (phpmyadmin, etc.)." Guest
I have phpMyAdmin through the database manager with my hosting company webmasters.com. However, I don't know what I am doing. I went into the manager and chose manufacturers_info. Then, I went to mySQL to the upload text file. I uploaded the file, but got this error: #1050 - Table 'sources' already exists -------------------------------- Another Problem I'm having: When I make the necessary changes to catalog/create_account.php, I get the following error when creating an account: 1054 - Unknown column 'customers_info_source_id' in 'field list' insert into customers_info (customers_info_id, customers_info_number_of_logons, customers_info_date_account_created, customers_info_source_id) values ('5', '0', now(), '0') [TEP STOP]
