PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.0a

:: Sorry, just seen the IPN topic that I should have posted into - will re-post ::

I've just been through the list of updates and amendments to install PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.0a and all seems to have gone well apart from this:

When I click on Modules in the Admin system I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class paypal in /home/fhlinux196/c/creativeadmintechnology.net/user/htdocs/catalog/includes/modules/payment/paypal.php on line 20

I've checked and re-checked what I've done but it's beyond me.

Any help would be much appreciated.

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class paypal"

Sounds like you have edited a file in a way that resulted in two declarations of class Paypal. Probably need to recheck any file edits or pasting of code.

Are the two declarations likely to be in separate files? I've checked the 'paypal.php' file that came with the download (i.e. a file I've not had to edit) and there's only one declaration in there. I'm not sure where else to look.

Problem solved.

I had duplicated the edited files for safety and didn't realise I couldn't leave them in the same folder even though they were named differently. Removed the dupes - all is well.

Thanks.
