Kjolebutikken
I noticed that when I click on my images on the frontpage (new products of the month), I get the whole url for the icon_newarrival.gif that I use, only when I click on the products image. When I click on the new arrival image, I get the correct url (ny, which is new in norwegian). It looks like this: CODE http://www.kjolebutikken.com/oscdemo1/incl..._newarrival.gif What is supposed to show when clicking on the products image is the title of the product. I have installed the "Search friendly URL v.1.10" contr. and I have also installed the "New products icon v.1.0." contr. I'm not sure which gives me this problem, but I did not notice it before installing the thumbnail creator. Here is url to my site if you want to take a look: http://www.kjolebutikken.com/oscdemo1/index.php Hope anyone can help :-) Thanks Quote Best regards Kjolebutikken

Guest
I wonder if any can help me too. I installed the SEO URL v1.10 on one of my sites and everything went wrong so I have installed it on a completely newly installed site just in case there were any conflicts. Having read the instructions carefully, I first notice that I should put the new file .htaccess into catalog. However, the contribution does not have a .htaccess file but there is already one in there. Should I be be doing something to my existing .htaccess file? On step 3, the instruction say " These files has been modified" so I wasn't sure if they are already modified or if I should need to do anything with them aswell. I put all of these files into the correct places and, when clicking on a product in the newly installed site, each link simply linked back to my homepage (index.php) and went round in a loop. Then I started to get a 404 error saying the product could not be found, although it was clear that it was looking for a re-written URL correct path, ie. www.ljs-trading.co.uk/Hardware/Graphics-Cards/Matrox-G200-MMS. I took the step to modify the files from instructions in the install-old instructions and now I get a fatal error. I have been trying all sorts and re-installing oscommerce etc but cannot get this to work. If I can get it to work on a test site, I am half way there and can perhaps put this into my main site without too much hassle. Main questions: 1. Should I be installing anything before v1.10 such as v1.8? 2. Should there be an additional .htaccess file to install? 3. Are te files already mofied for v1.10 or do I need to modify them myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

adcnet
Hello, If someone is still around helping with this - I have made my way through this thread since 2004! I have installed and all working well - just need someone to help me with a fix for the info box problem? When clicking on a product info box it goes back to index.php? I love this SEO script, it is better than others I have seen - it looks so clean in the browser which I think is much better than the Ultimate SEO Script contribution. I hope someone still wants to keep this going... Edited October 28, 2006 by adcnet

clemptor
Hey there all, Installation was successful. Unfortunately, for the individual products, it is only pulling the meta descriptions and keywords specified for the manufacturers, not the product-specific ones. The site is http://www.backdoorguitars.com. Thanks in advance

Guest
ok I installed this but I have one problem. Clean links for category work, but not for products. What did I do wrong???? probably something with html_output.php file but I can't find the problem. I have the same issue. It rewrites all the urls fine, but only the category level links (i.e.: http://www.elementalsilver.com/Anniversary-Rings.html) work, not the individual items (i.e.: http://www.elementalsilver.com/Anniversary...nity-Ring.html). Anyone have suggestions?
