blucollarguy
I have not been able to login or add prods to the shopping cart after enabling Force Cookie use. Any ideas. I have done the obvious, Inernet Options security settings. Tested with FireFox and IE. Craig :) Happy Coding! Craig Garrison Sr Anything worth having, is worth working for. blucollarguy
if u r using a shared ssl you need to set cookies to false <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the reply. I do not have ssl enabled. Does this matter? I am trying to improve my SE rankings, currently pretty much zero anywhere except Froogle, but I have had serious trouble with Search Engine Friendly URLs, IPN and a few other mods don't seem to like it. I was hoping to get rid of SIDs. Any ideas? Craig :) Happy Coding! Craig Garrison Sr Anything worth having, is worth working for. Guest
have you modified any of the code dealing with ssl? i know you say you dont have it enabled, however if the section of the code gets modified, then things go all haywire.

I will try to track some of my mods and see. This seems like a strange error to me. All I get is the page explaining that one must enable cookie use, but cookies are enabled. Every other site I go to can set cookies, but not mine. Craig :) Happy Coding! Craig Garrison Sr Anything worth having, is worth working for. ♥Vger
but I have had serious trouble with Search Engine Friendly URLs If you have these enabled, then disable them. There is a warning with this feature that it is still in development. To find the answer to this problem you will need to post both of your configure.php files (without the db username and password).
