tpr
I've just set up a store and am adding products. Can anyone offer some incite on how to fix the following problem or to help me understand what im doing wrong? * I have one product that weights 8.6 ounces. * In the product admin I enter 0.86 in the weight field. * I add this product to the cart and check out. * Item is listed as "United States Postal Service (1 x 0.86lbs)" Here's my problem. The following are the only two listed. Priority (2 - 3 Days) $3.85 Parcel (4 - 7 Days) $4.31 I have First Class checked in the admin and the weight of the item is below the 13 ounces required for first class. So that leads me to believe that a) the USPS is sending the wrong info or B) im not entering the weight of the product (8.6 ounces) into the admin correctly. Also, why is the Parcel more than the Priority? Can anyone help? Thanks!
mugitty
8.6 ounces is 8.6/16 or 0.5375 pounds The osC weight format reads whole units and tenths Parcel is more than Priority because the USPS module has Non-Machinable hard coded into it, which increases the rate for Parcel (but not for Priority, because it is not affected by that entry) Edited September 15, 2004 by mugitty Quote ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent! TomThumb
You have to enter in the decimal equivalent. oz use 1 0.0625 2 0.1250 3 0.1875 4 0.2500 5 0.3125 6 0.3750 7 0.4375 8 0.5000 9 0.5625 10 0.6250 11 0.6875 12 0.7500 13 0.8125 14 0.8750 15 0.9375 Quote while (!succeed) {try()}; GMT -6:
