Hi - You must have read my mind. I was just looking for something like this to incorporate into a client's site. How do I know what the proper zone codes are? e.g. for US Territories, other foreign countries?

Thanks,

Barb

from the osCommerce admin, if you goto Locations/Taxes -> Zones; there will be a list of zones with their code as well. For the US it is the 2 letter state abbreviation.

Will your contribution work with % of total calculations? For Region 1 Shipping Table 2 I've entered 1:7;47:15% and with a total of 67.70 in my cart I'm getting 0.00 as my 2nd day shipping cost.

Thanks for the help.

Hi there..

This is a great tool... but I have a little problem with it...

How may I configure it for another country since on the configuration form I have this: "Regions Country

Enable this for the following country (regions are found within the country then: states, etc)" but if I select another country and then clik on save and after that check it it still apperas as "Regions Country 0". Any help would be great.

I'm working with the last version, 2.2.

Yes but there are many variations on the 2.2 version. Are you running MS1, MS2, or something from the development CVS? If not sure, you can look in `includes/application_top.php` and towards the top will be a PROJECT_VERSION define that tells what exact version you are running.

Ohh yes of course, it is osCommerce 2.2-MS2.

And one more dought, on the region tables, I have to put a LONG string to make all my shipments accurate, but I cannot put all of it, how could I make this string longer, I mean for example, that I have to put all this information on one table for example:

Ok I have uploaded a version that fixes the problem with selecting a country.

As to the length of string you can input, this is restricted by the database, and you would have to go in and change the type of field that it is, as I believe the current type of field it is can only be 255 characters max.

Thank you so much, I will try it with the new file, thank you.

And about the string, do you know exactly how may I change it, sorry for asking this, but I'm king of new talking about databse.

if you can access your database with phpMyAdmin (if unsure ask you host if you have phpMyAdmin), it is the `configuration` table in your database. You will have to edit the `configuration_value` field and change its type from varchar 255 characters to text and remove the length restriction.

Hello,

This sounds like a great module... Congratulations!

I was testing it out but having a problem...

First the only file I find in the download is

catalog/includes/modules/shipping/mrmt.php

Is this the only file that is in the mod?

I uploaded it into the directory on my server as instructed

Then I went into the admin to try to install it but at this location

catalog/admin/modules.php?set=shipping&module=

I received the following error:

Warning: main(/htdocs/ebonni34/hockeyheadquarters.com/catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/mrmt.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/htdocs/users/ebonni34/ebonni34/hockeyheadquarters.com/catalog/admin/modules.php on line 128

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/htdocs/ebonni34/hockeyheadquarters.com/catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/mrmt.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/htdocs/users/ebonni34/ebonni34/hockeyheadquarters.com/catalog/admin/modules.php on line 128

Does this have anything to do with a file being missing that I need? If so where can I get it?

Thanks

This is a great set up for the USA

I want to use it for the store I am working on.

I am located in Canada and plan to ship mostly to Canada and the USA... I will ship internationally but don't expect much sales though.

So I was wondering if there was a way to set up mrmt module so that you can set up different regions in different countries?

Any ideas? Would you have to modify the code?

Or do you think you could just copy and rename the mrmt files to say...

mrmt-canada.php

and install a second a second mrmt shipping module for Canada?

And finally to deal with all other countries could you set up the zones shipping module and somehow exclude canada and the usa from it. then place a sort order on the shipping modules to say

mrmt 0

mrmt-canada 1

zones 3

I am fairly new to php and oscommerce so please forgive me if my question seems silly or unclear. Please let me know if it makes sense.

Thanks for your time and thoughts

Hi, nice contributions, just looking for something like that.

Just a little question. Is it possible to make Table 2 & 3 like Table 1? Where you can enter multiple shipping rates based on weight? If that is possible, would someone tell me how to do that (keep in mind that I am not the best to php programming :)).

the default install just shows an example. All tables can have multiple rates based on the method chosen for that region (price, count, or weight).

FYI, reading the readme doc always helps ;)

I have read the readme, and no explanations other than Table 2 & 3 are flat rate shipping option.

It will not work with multi prices, based on weigh in Table 2 & 3. It simply just select the heaviest = the last weigh/price that I have entered.

I have tried this in Table 2:

0.25:15,0.50:25,1.0:35,1.1:0 (and with or without 0 in the beginning, and other variations)

It simply selects the last 1.1:0 even if the product weighs less than 0.25.

I am still wondering if anyone knows if this set up can inlude both the USA and Canada?

If possible how do you set it up?

The readme file doesn't seem to explain that but says it can be set up for multiple countries.

Thanks

Yeap, I same thing here. First table (Ground on the default example) only shows the last value, which is zero in this case. I deleted 2.5:0 and now it only shows 2:8.94, which is now the last value.

Can someone find a way to fix this or please tell me if I'm doing something wrong?

Tks in advance, guys.

BTW, tks for this nice add on. Really needed something like that. ;)
