Druide
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2367 World Zones 1.0 Based on contribution www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,920 25 May 2004 - Zones Intenational Default / Zonesworld Version 2 All credits are by all people who contributed on this & previous version. ADDED IN THIS VERSION: #################### * Added the choise to select the worldzones by weight or by price (note the data in modules/shipping/worldzones.php is set for option price, adjust at your needs.) * renamed the shipping class to 'worldzones' to prevent errors with other shipping modules, this is the reason why i added this contribution as a 'new' one. (no offence to other authors) I just build a new site www.sierrasglassworks.com (live store, orders will be billed) for my wife and needed this calculation by 'price' option because we are gonna sell hand crafted beads, and i'm sure there are other people who will be VERY happy with this contribution. Quote Robert We all need to learn it once, how hard it may seem when you look at it, also you will master it someday ;)
spi
Hi, thank a lot for this contribution :) But I have a question: I have the shipping calculated by weight, but I *don't want* the weight to be displayed on the checkout_shipping page. I erased the weight units in the language files, but I still get this (example): World Zone Rates Shipping to Gabon: 5 15.00 EUR (because the item weights 5 kg) how do I get rid of that '5' ? I just want: Shipping to Gabon: 15 EUR I guess I have to make a change in catalog/includes/modules/ shipping/worldzones.php, but where? Any help welcome ! spi

Guest
Hi Druide I have a problem with your shpping modul. The Error "The shipping rate cannot be determined at this time" I have upload and install the modul and the amount is always "0.00" What can i do? cheers Lars Same issue, anyone fix it? Further why are we entering default numbers in the php file when the admin interface has a form for this, changes to which appear to make no difference. Further still, if you add a fourth level of zones, nothing shows in admin. Extremely difficult to understand the install readme English. Can someone who knows this program have a go at enhancing its clarity and completeness? Edited December 6, 2005 by tjd
