    Easier Attributes

    This addon is meant as a replacement for the Product Attributes section in admin, for any version of oscommerce. The main advantages of it are: Ability to add/edit/delete attributes quickly (very quickly). A multi-select list that allows adding attributes to many products at once. Ability to search attributes. For those of you with a large number of attributes, you will probably be amazed at how quickly this responds when compared to the existing attributes code. Please note that all of the sections are not completed. The basic attributes and search code is complete, I think, and the Options code is close to complete, if not complete. But the Values and Settings sections still need to be worked on. The old attributes section, or any addon for attributes that is installed, will still function so these unfinished parts won't cause any problems. I wanted to get it uploaded as it is now to start getting feedback on it to better know what to work on. So if anyone tries it, please let me know of any problems, suggestions or questions.

    Search Tool Plug in

    We're using the basic search tool that came with v2.2. We need something better but with all the customization we've done, going to 2.3.4 in the short term is impossible. The current version is extremely slow. We want to search both category and products & use the meta keyword field to plant alternate words & misspellings. We would also like to include a part number (SKU) search. Has anyone installed any of these with good results? Ajax Search Suggest, SiteSearch Plus AJAX Quick Search
  3. About This add-on is based on SimpleSuggest, adding a search suggestion to your OsCommerce search box, but it also records each customers' searched keywords and sort the result products order by popular search, or even simply show the result in term of popular keywords. It also gives the ability to search in multiple keywords using AND/OR. Options can be set in Admin and automatically install and deal with database. By setting search type 'products' and sort by 'products', it works just like SimpleSuggest, but you can also sort the resulting products by 'keywords' - it's searched count. Or simply put search type to 'keywords' so it works as a self-learn search engine which gives the pass searched keywords (make sure you have enough saved search keywords before turn this on) ScreenShot http://richardfu.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/screenshot_1_search_suggest.jpg Search suggestion using or and multiple words http://richardfu.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/screenshot_2_admin_configuration.jpg Admin configuration http://richardfu.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/screenshot_3_stats_report.jpg Stats keyword searched 2.2.x Add-on page 2.3.x Add-on page

    Terms replacements in search

    Hello, someone know and App to insert keywords replacements ? e.g. if someone search for CPU, the results include products with "Processor" in the title. Currently when users search for CPU, they get zero results.
  5. I had a client that wanted to be able to search the admin categories / products page using multiple keywords in the search box. As an example, they wanted to be able to search for “ces wing” and have that return products including “Cessna 170 Left Wing Tip” just as easily as “Wing Elevator for Cessna 170.” It’s essentially a multiple wildcard array for keyword bits as opposed to a single wildcard for the entire search. It’s also very easy to install! Just modify one file and a couple of lines at that: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9310
  6. I cannot change the label value in oscommerce 3.0 search page, Date to, Date From etc. Please help me to solve the problem.. Code added in below: </li> <li><?php echo HTML::label(OSCOM::getDef('field_search_price_from'), 'pfrom') . HTML::inputField('pfrom'); ?></li> <li><?php echo HTML::label(OSCOM::getDef('field_search_price_to'), 'pto') . HTML::inputField('pto'); ?></li> <li><?php echo HTML::label(OSCOM::getDef('field_search_date_from'), 'datefrom_days') . HTML::dateSelectMenu('datefrom', null, false, null, null, date('Y') - $OSCOM_Search->getMinYear(), 0); ?></li> <li><?php echo HTML::label(OSCOM::getDef('field_search_date_to'), 'dateto_days') . HTML::dateSelectMenu('dateto', null, null, null, null, date('Y') - $OSCOM_Search->getMaxYear(), 0); ?></li>
