    HoneyPot Captcha

This addon prevents multiple emails from being sent through the forms on the site by adding a hidden challenge. Sending emails through the forms is a favorite thing to do by spammers. This has traditionally been handled by Googles Recaptcha code but that causes too much of a challenge in many cases and can easily frustrate your customers. This code doesn't present a challenge for the customer at all. The checking is done without the customer even knowing it. The code will work in any version of oscommerce but the instructions are just for the Community Edition and just for the contact us page (due to time constraints).

    reCAPTCHA for v2.2 RC2a

I trying to install a Google reCaptcha v2 in my old v2.2 RC2a store since there doesn't seem to be a reCaptcha v3 available (this v2.3 add on didn't function since the admin side boxes would not display (https://apps.oscommerce.com/M93NH&amp;google-recaptcha-v3). So, I'm using the 19th September 2016 template found here: https://apps.oscommerce.com/DMTEK&amp;google-recaptcha-2-0&amp;v=22 It directs you to open catalog/includes/template_top.php and find <script type="text/javascript" src="ext/jquery/jquery.stringball.js"></script> . The file template_top.php doesn't exist in my store. I believe it is a typo? Is it suppose to be applications_top.php? If not where should I put that javascript? Otherwise, is there an easy way to just upgrade the v1 add on that is currently on my site (https://apps.oscommerce.com/tYsNN) to a v2 or v3 reCAPTCHA?
  3. Sorry................ i cannot . Let me trow up an idea and let YOU and the rest either give it a go... or reject it by good argumentation. We use in oscommerce for all links: - tep_href_link What if use for the above listed pages: - tep_gen_href_link ( where _gen means: Generated link) So if DIRECTLY goto contact_us.php and there is no KEY provided that matches. You already know it is a bot. Give it a thought. I not say it go cover all problems. Now i really stop.
  4. JcM Modal reCaptcha Contact V1.0 Phoenix A simple add-on that allows you to replace the stock footer information block with one that has a new simple contact form within a modal with Google reCapture. It also displays the information links in a modal window so customer is never taken away from the page they are on. It’s a simple no core change add-on so just copy files over go to admin and install and setup. Turn off the stock information block. To use the contact form you will need you google site keys. Add the secret key to the mail.php file along with the email address you wish to use. Line 6. $secretKey = 'put your secret key here'; Line 15. $mail_to = "your email here"; Then in the language file add you site key, cm_footer_jcm_modal_information_recaptcha_contact.php Line 75. <div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="put your site key here"></div> That’s it enjoy. Has been tested on Phoenix 1.0.3.0 only. Can be seen working on this custom test site
