  1. Hello, @Dan Cole, @kymation, @Tsimi, @altoid, @piernas, @burt Would you (and everybody else also very welcome) be interested in forming a team to develop the modularized versions of the checkout pages? It would allow to add for example discount code, matc, points and rewards or just a simple module with additional info text without any core change, hook or ht injections. Exposé: - - Leave the checks and security part between includes application_top.php and includes template_top.php in the main page files. - - Leave the forms in main page file - - Move only the content part between includes template_top.php and includes template_bottom.php into content modules - - Suggested modules: o Checkout shipping and payment: - page header - address (2 modules) - shipping/payment methods - comments - continue button - progress line o Checkout confirmation: - page header - products+ot - delivery address - payment address - shipping method - payment method - payment information - comments - confirm order button - progress line o Checkout shipping/payment address (optional) - page header - address (2 modules) - new shipping/billing address - continue button - progress line It could be projected as an add-on like the modular shopping cart or, if @burt is interested, pull request for core. I would create a github fork with maybe the easiest module “comments” as a starting point. Best regards Rainer
  2. Support thread for the "Upcoming Products Modules for osC 2.3.4 bootstrap" add-on. Report problems here. Feedback and comments appreciated. Download link: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9503 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PREREQUISITES: Recent versions of osCommerce BS EDGE that now includes modular index and category pages. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Package contains one template package for use as another template option to replace the current osC BS "Upcoming Products" template on the front page (index). The template file in the package houses the "Upcoming Products" module within a panel border (this was how it originally looked in earlier versions of osC BS EDGE). Use it to replace the current table format template so that the "Upcoming Products" match the look of my other modules which make use of the panel border template. Package also contains 2 new Upcoming Products modules; one for the modular category pages (index_nested) and one for the sub-category product pages (index_products). Each module contains 2 templates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Demos: http://www.auzcommerce.com.au/osc234bs_test/index.php http://www.auzcommerce.com.au/osc234bs_test/index.php?cPath=1 http://www.auzcommerce.com.au/osc234bs_test/index.php?cPath=1_4 cheers
  3. Modular Shopping Cart BS Version 1.0 Developer Team: Dan Cole - @@Dan Cole James Keebaugh - @@kymation Lambros - @@Tsimi Rainer Schmied - @raiwa Testers: Steve Kleiner - @@altoid Juanma - @@piernas Suggestions - Survey: Gary Burton - @@burt This is a modular re-design of the existing shopping cart that is used in the responsive version of osCommerce. It replaces the existing shopping cart with content modules so that you can control the order and placement of the various components that appear on the shopping cart page. The modular design will allow you to easily add and set up additional modules that have and will be developed by the community. Current modules that are available include the ship in cart estimator, discount coupon codes and an X-sell module. In time additional product listing formats and other enhancements are expected. Included Modules: - Product Listing - Order SubTotal - Checkout - Alternative Checkout - Out of Stock Notice - Empty Cart Message English, Spanish and German language files included. 4. Support thread for the "Modular Category Page for osC 2.3.4 bootstrap" add-on. Report problems here. Feedback and comments appreciated. Download link: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9448 This add-on modularises "top level/nested" category pages by replacing current content with separate modules. Use it to replace the current "top level/nested" category content so as to enable easy install of future category modules, that either have enhancements to current category content or to add modules with new features. It works similar to kymation's "Modular Front Page Module". Modules are installed as new separate modules for each section of content that normally appears in "top level/nested" category pages. It includes Category Name, Message Stack, Category Description, Category Images and New Products as well as Upcoming Products (new) where the content displayed is targeted to that particular category and its subcategories. NOTE: "top level/nested" categories are categories that contain no products themselves but have sub-categories with products, and the "Sub-Categories" and the "New Products" (for the sub-categories) currently appear. If a "top level" category itself contains products (with or without sub-categories), then the contents of these modules will not appear. This is currently standard osCommerce behaviour of the existing category pages. This separate add-on "Category New Products Carousel (bootstrap)" http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9445 can display on all category pages. Future versions of other modules may also do this. FYI: The content modules in this add-on use this folder structure "modules/content/category".
