  1. I have been given the task of migrating a current live osCommerce website, version 2.3.4 from a server running PHP 5.3.3 to a server running PHP 7.0.33. I understand that I should really upgrade to the latest (Frozen) version of osCommerce but this live site has many custom coded features and addons that will need to be re-written to be added to the latest version and I only have a short time before the old server is switched off. I have a test environment set up on the new server and I've moved copies of the existing database and files to create the error testing site. I have managed to correct many issues by renaming the class function name to '__construct'. My admin side seems to be working fine, however on the store front I'm getting this error whenever a product is added to the cart or any message is to be displayed : Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method messageStack::alertBlock() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/includes/classes/message_stack.php:66 Stack trace: #0 /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/includes/modules/product_listing.php(4): messageStack->output('product_action') #1 /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxxx/index.php(227): include('/home/xxxx...') #2 {main} thrown in /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/includes/classes/message_stack.php on line 66 The line in question is: return $this->alertBlock($output); Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to sort this out. Many thanks.
  2. This is the official support thread for Restrict Shipping Method for 2.3. This addon allows you to restrict shipping types/methods for certain products, or alternatively exclude certain shipping types for products. It is very effective if for example you have an item for sale in your shop that can ONLY be sent via courier but not post. So "courier" can be set as the restricted type of shipping method and enabled in (by selecting "1") that product. This addon is a modification of the "Restrict Delivery" addon for 2.2 by idolcemia, including modifications suggested by ReDYeViL. I have added instructions to allow you to modify which products are the restricted class in the admin backend (categories.php), where previously you had to modify it directly through the SQL database which can be extremely tedious. I changed the name of the addon to help with search results (personally it took me ages stumbling to find the original). See the addon here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9071 Full credit to the original author idolcemia for the original code and addon.

    PayPal Payflow Return URL Method

I have osCommerce 2.3.1. Installed PayPal Payflow Gateway from the PayPal website. The instructions say to setup the hosting account confirmation page return url method to link, but only post and get are available. The I-frame for the credit cards show but when it's processed, we receive PayPal payment but no order is processed and the customer's shopping cart is still full. I have tried to install fresh installs. Still didn't work either. PayPal instructions say to use (mywebsite/checkout_process.php), which I did. That page shows in the I-frame when the order is done, but doesn't link to a new window. If, at that time, I manually type in (mywebsite/checkout_process.php), it does process the order, but doesn't seem very convenient as some orders may or may not process depending on if the customer would or would not think they're done when the payment is done. I have installed our webpages, osCommerce, add-ons, modules, etc., but am limited to .php coding. Thanks for any help. Joe
