  1. This addon is a bootstrap module that displays the category images on the home page. The category description can also be displayed via a setting.
  2. Hi everyone, I have oscommerce 2.3.4 and I tried to install this add on: in order to be able to select the folder that product images are uploaded into but after changing files (Admin/categories.php and Admin/includes/languages/english/categories.php) I can no longer load categories.php when i run this URL: admin/categories.php. I receive error HTTP ERROR 500. I will attach the code for Admin/categories.php here and would be much grateful if someone can look into it and see whats wrong. Thank you very much. Thanks kevin categories.php
  3. Hi @ll ! Yesterday I decided to hack the OSC build-in upload routine, cause its a mess if you have to upload about 8-10 images with it. You have to click four times to select only one image. Since HTML5 there is an "multiple" attribute in the <input> markup which takes my interest. Ive done to place an Multi-Upload-Button between the main-(small-) image-Button and the Add-Large-Images-Button. It only appears if there are no large images uploaded for this product. If you use it, you cant add a description for the image while upload. You have to edit the product after saving it again to add the description. The images are sorted by filename after the upload, which causes me to add numbers to the Large-Images-Upload-Popups. If you still want to use it, here is the code: catalog / admin / categories.php find the Large-Images-Upload-Routine and add the following code so it looks like this: // Insert new large product images $sql_data_array = array('products_id' => (int)$products_id); $t = new upload($key); $t->set_destination(DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES); if ($t->parse() && $t->save()) { $pi_sort_order++; $sql_data_array['image'] = tep_db_prepare_input($t->filename); $sql_data_array['sort_order'] = $pi_sort_order; tep_db_perform(TABLE_PRODUCTS_IMAGES, $sql_data_array); $piArray[] = tep_db_insert_id(); } } elseif ($key == 'products_multiple_images_new') { // Insert multiple large product images $sql_data_array = array('products_id' => (int)$products_id); if(isset($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['tmp_name'])) { // Number of uploaded files $num_files = count($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['tmp_name']); /** loop through the array of files ***/ for($i=0; $i < $num_files;$i++) { // check if there is a file in the array if(!is_uploaded_file($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['tmp_name'][$i])) { $messageStack->add_session(WARNING_NO_FILE_UPLOADED, 'warning'); } else { // copy the file to the specified dir if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['tmp_name'][$i], DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES . '/' . $_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['name'][$i])) { $sql_data_array['image'] = $_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['name'][$i]; $sql_data_array['sort_order'] = $i; tep_db_perform(TABLE_PRODUCTS_IMAGES, $sql_data_array); $piArray[] = tep_db_insert_id(); /*** give praise and thanks to the php gods ***/ $messageStack->add_session($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['name'][$i].' '.SUCCESS_FILE_SAVED_SUCCESSFULLY, 'success'); } else { /*** an error message ***/ $messageStack->add_session($_FILES['products_multiple_images_new']['name'][$i].' '.WARNING_NO_FILE_UPLOADED, 'warning'); } } } } } } $product_images_query = tep_db_query("select image from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS_IMAGES . " where products_id = '" . (int)$products_id . "' and id not in (" . implode(',', $piArray) . ")"); The codechanges starts with the elseif statment above the "Insert multiple large product images" remark and stops above the $product_images_query. Now we have to place the Upload-Button in the form. Find the Edit-/Add-Product form and add the Buttoncode so it looks like this: <td class="main" style="padding-left: 30px;"> <div><?php echo '<strong>' . TEXT_PRODUCTS_MAIN_IMAGE . ' <small>(' . SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH . ' x ' . SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT . 'px)</small></strong><br />' . (tep_not_null($pInfo->products_image) ? '<a href="' . HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES . $pInfo->products_image . '" target="_blank">' . $pInfo->products_image . '</a> | ' : '') . tep_draw_file_field('products_image'); ?></div> <?php if (empty($pInfo->products_larger_images)){ ?> <br /><input type="file" name="products_multiple_images_new[]" multiple/><br /><br /> <?php } ?> <ul id="piList"> Thats it. I had to add a new upload routine, cause the osc upload-class cant handle multiple files. The upload-array looks a little bit different. Maybe here is one php-crack who can add the multi-file-routine in the stock upload class. Oh, if you like to have numbers at your Large-Images-Popup just edit the echo statement just below your new Button so it looks like this: foreach ($pInfo->products_larger_images as $pi) { $pi_counter++; echo ' <li id="piId' . $pi_counter . '" class="ui-state-default"><span class="ui-icon ui-icon-arrowthick-2-n-s" style="float: right;"></span><a href="#" onclick="showPiDelConfirm(' . $pi_counter . ');return false;" class="ui-icon ui-icon-trash" style="float: right;"></a><strong>' . $pi_counter . '. ' . TEXT_PRODUCTS_LARGE_IMAGE . '</strong><br />' . tep_draw_file_field('products_image_large_' . $pi['id']) . '<br /><a href="' . HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES . $pi['image'] . '" target="_blank">' . $pi['image'] . '</a><br /><br />' . TEXT_PRODUCTS_LARGE_IMAGE_HTML_CONTENT . '<br />' . tep_draw_textarea_field('products_image_htmlcontent_' . $pi['id'], 'soft', '70', '3', $pi['htmlcontent']) . '</li>'; } Dear Mod: If this is a real security risk, or harms anybody, so please delete it quickly o:) Good luck ! Denzel.
  4. On Mobile XS View, is there any method to have the enlarged pictures go full width or height? Currently, on mobile, clicking on the thumbnail just opens the lightbox colourbox and you get a black transparent background around the image and the image is a bit too small. Was wondering if anyone has implemented a better solution or a way to tweak the existing one? thanks
  5. Hi Is it possible to change the article images with the selection of options? I have found several addons, tested them, but could not get to work one of them. So, I tried myself to find a simple solution: I added a new column 'options_values_image' to table 'products_attributes', an ajax script to product_info.php and wrote a new file to select the appropriate image for each option. Work half done: In the frontend, apart from some minor (cosmetic) issues the image change works as intended - with a single product image the change is really easy (demo: option: Model), with a set of images it was a bit more complicated but also possible (demo: - option:case). And the colorbox also works. But where I currently really stuck, is the question how to get the options images into the database in the admin area? It's surely possible to add something for that to the products_attributes menu. But is the products_attributes really worth the effort? You can use it if you have a handful of products with some attributes - but with hundreds of articles with a lot of different options using this menu is really a nightmare! Integrating the image upload into the Ajax AttributesManager (which I really like) would be perhaps a better solution, but not all store owners have this tool in use. Or would it a better idea to create a separate file for that purpose? I'm not sure! Any ideas? J.J.

  7. I have been looking in the contributions & add-ons as well as the forums. Also, I have tried out several different things that I read in forums or was instructed to do in the contributions. I really want a simple way to make my products images appear in the product list. So far the things I have tried to add-on or tweak have basically brought my site down or I have just been unsuccessful with. Please, any advice as to a basic, somewhat error proof way to get the images to appear in the product list. I don't care if they are in a list, grid, etc etc . I just need it so that when my customer selects the category & is taken to the product list they can view the images & choose from them instead of from a list of items without pics. Thank you very much.

  9. Hi! I would like a small image when the cusomer looks at the product description, and then a larger image when they click the image. How will I get it to work this way? As it is now, I need to adjust all image sizes so that they are not to big in the description, but then they won't get bigger in the pop up either... Good help would be appriciated:) Lina
  10. I'm kind of new to posting ... so if this is in the incorrect place please forgive me. So I just installed the product listings enhancement to my store and everything seems to be ok. Just a couple of questions. 1. How can I set the default number of products per page to be greater than the standard 9? 2. How can I center my image inside the grid?
  11. I have oscThumb installed in my shops.,5491 It's running fine, but it throws a bunch of errors when my sites are run using the W3C markup validation service. Maybe not a big deal, or maybe it is. I don't know. I am considering switching to On the Fly thumbs: I am interested in the pros and cons when compared to one another, both for 2.2 and 2.3.1 shops. Thanks
  12. Hello to all, must be the second time I post here with the same subject. V Use oscommerce. 2.2 Miulestone Br - and I'm losing a lot of time to put pictures of each product. Initially I upload via FTP in a folder of images all the photos you intend to use - this part is fast, I have no problems. The problem is that as in my case I use 5-7 images on each product, end up losing a lot of time to do the same because the ads to place each of the images need 4 clicks - and repeat the whole process again. Does anyone know if there is some system like this that allows a single operation to put all the product photos at once. I appreciate any suggestions - Thank you, Andres - Brazil
