  1. JcM Shopping Cart Message V1.0 Phoenix This is a simple add-on to let you add 1 to 4 messages in your shopping cart. It requires NO core changes so just copy over the files provided. Once it’s installed simply go to admin and install and turn on. You can turn the messages on/off in admin. The messages are set in the language file. You can change the test and icons and styling as required. That’s it enjoy. It has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.4.3 only. Can be seen working on this custom test site
  2. I have been using a ship in cart addon for my store, but now my webhost have announced that they will be upgrading to PHP 5.5.4 in January. When I view my site under these new "conditions", I get errormessages in the cart from the shipping module. Warning: Creating default object from empty value in C:\-----catalog\includes\modules\shipping_estimator.php on line 92 is the one I get when not logged in, and Warning: Illegal string offset 'title' in C:\----catalog\includes\classes\order.php on line 222 Warning: Illegal string offset 'cost' in C:\----catalog\includes\classes\order.php on line 223 these two when I am logged in. The addon I use is pretty old by now (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1781) and that got me thinking. I won't need the option to search postage cost by country or zip code or anything that fancy, since I only have one shipping option (well, that and free shipping for a very limited amount of customers that I have a personal relation with) so is there a way to add this amount to the cart without the need of a fancy addon? of course the shipping cost should be included in the shown order total, for both guests and signed in customers.
  3. Hello, I've install this addon: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2561 And it works, yet in 2.3 osc, there was changes in Boxes, new class for them etc. So whole site is getting cached and i don't know how to make not caching the bm_shopping_cart. In install guide of chemo it's Step 7 makes problem. " STEP 7 - Edit includes/column_right.php (or wherever you have the shopping cart displayed) Find this code: require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'shopping_cart.php'); And REPLACE it with this code: if (!tep_session_is_registered('customer_id') && ENABLE_PAGE_CACHE == 'true' && class_exists('page_cache') ) { echo "<%CART_CACHE%>"; } else { require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'shopping_cart.php'); } " How to solve that class problem. I would want to display here a shopping box, but i don't know how? How can i do this through class $osc_template ? is it possible? (i don't want whole column_right or left but only bm_shopping_cart)
  4. Hi all. I am new osCommerce and ecommerce development so bear with me. I have installed osC and need to make a few modifications but require some guidance. My parent site has provided me Developer/Namespace instructions to connect my database items to their database for auto update of prices and product descriptions, Where do i put or how to i edit this info in osC? Here's a few examples: public DCGetProductInfo() public DCUserContext UserContext { get; set; } For the cart...i need to transfer the cart to be fulfilled by my parent company. I need to know where to input this code. Here's an example: <form action="http://"PARENTWEBSITE"/us/shop/cart/upload/ShoppingCartTransfer.aspx" method="post"> <strong>Are you interested in:</strong><br /> <input type="radio" name="custtype" value="81" /> Purchasing Products (Retail Customers)<br /> <input type="radio" name="custtype" value="03" checked="checked" /> Becoming a Member (Instant Member Application)<br /> <input type="hidden" name="ownerid" value="123456" /> <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="5"> <tr> <td> </td> <td><strong>Quantity</strong></td> </tr> <tr> <td> <input type="checkbox" name="prodnum" value="302" /> <strong>Alfalfa</strong> </td> <td> <input type="text" name="prodqty" size="5" /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <input type="checkbox" name="prodnum" value="40951" /> <strong>Thai-Go Drink</strong> </td> <td> <input type="text" name="prodqty" size="5" /> </td> </tr> </table> <br /> <input type="submit" value="Buy Now" /> </form> I appreciate any guidance you all may be able to provide. Thank you in advance :)
