The addon WA State Destination-Based Sales Tax was new roughly 9 years ago. It addressed a problem of accurately calculating the sales tax for a Washington state business shipping to a Washington state delivery address. This addon grabs tax rates from a Washington Dept. of Revenue server during the checkout process. This is installed on my 2.2 shop and has been working since 2008. A little over a week ago I started to get errors indicating that the lookup wasn't functioning. After making some contacts, I was told that a major upgrade of the GIS external agency website occurred on or around the weekend of Sept. 9th. I am hoping that someone will see this message who was involved in the development of the original addon. I need some help in getting my shop to calculate Washington state sales tax correctly again.
