  12. JcM GDPR-cookie-widgets V1.2 Phoenix let’s you add a cookie widget to your site. This will allow your customer to refuse cookies if they wish to and let you comply with legislation. What you allow will depend on who you are and what legal requirements you need to comply with. It is imposable to make an add-on that will work out of the box for all shops. The header_tag installs the main script which loads the main js and makes language selection. It also allows you to enter the custom scripts for your cookies. You have 10 input boxes admin to enter custom scripts. You do not need to use all 10, these are just to make management easy for most shops who will need only a few so can enter one into each box. If you need more than ten then just add extras all into one box. Included in the files is a list of some of the main scripts needed. Simply copy from <script to </script> and paste into input box and save. <script type="text/javascript"> (tarteaucitron.job = tarteaucitron.job || []).push('adsense'); </script> That’s all that is required. If you need more scripts then go to this website and search for the one you need. https://opt-out.ferank.eu/en/install/ The script is multilingual but I have only added a few to the code. These are in the header_tag class so if you need more you can edit it and add them. $language_code == 'fr' || $language_code == 'en' || $language_code == 'nl' || $language_code == 'de' || $language_code == 'es' || $language_code == 'it' || $language_code == 'pt' || $language_code == 'pl' || $language_code == 'ru' ) { I have to thank @Gyakutsuki for all his help with this add-on and especially the multilingual code. That’s it again as always copy everything over into correct directory's don't forget to copy the new js files to ext. Then go into admin and install and set up the module. The rest is straightforward and should be self explanatory. Has been tested on Phoenix 1.0.3.0 only. You can see it working on this site Enjoy.

Das Modul habe ich schon deinstalliert und wieder installiert, aber keine Verbesserung zu sehen. Hat jemand einen Tipp oder Ratschlag? Danke und Gruß Mauri

  23. Hello All; At this point, in my migration to OSC Phoenix, I am slowly adding shipping and payment methods. I currently have these modules installed and working Master_Password_v3.1 - INSTALLED USPS Rate V4 Intl Rate V2 r1.8 - INSTALLED (thank you @Kymation) I am now needing to install an UPS Shipping method. On my LIVE store I currently use UPS CHOICE 1.8.3.1. While I understand that XML is the wave of the future and I have the needed keys etc for install I would truly prefer simple rather than complex. Also from what I have read in the forums the module UPSXML version 1.7 does not like php 7.2 or php 7.3. I am currently running under php 7.3. WHICH UPS module WORKS with Phoenix? I have reviewed the forum and there does not seem to be an identified module (old or new) that is recommended. Suggestions? and do you have it operational? BJ
  24. As part of my experimentation with Phoenix, I wrote the following database script to move my current live data into Phoenix so I could see what it did. I thought I'd share it for anyone who's needing to move a live store to test or vice-versa. Any questions/comments please let me know. For this script to work, load it into your database tool and search and replace changing old_db to the name of your current live site (or origin data), select the new phoenix database and run the queries there. A couple of things I noticed moving from a 2.3.4 to Phoenix. Check your old sites categories_description table. Some older sites do not have categories_seo_description so this will fail on the select. change to '' in select. Check your manufacturers_info table for 'manufacturers_seo_description',and other seo fields and if it fails change them to '' in the select. If you get an error Data truncated for column then it means your old table has larger text length than in phoenix. Adjust phoenix field length and re-run query. A lot of old products table do not have products_gtin fields, modify field to '' in query Test Move SQL.sql
  25. JcM Header Google Search V1.0 Phoenix This is a simple header add-on that lets you place a Google Search at the top of your site. You will need a Google account to use this add-on. The free version will show google ads. I think we can all agree google is the king of search and will probably do a better job than anything we can come up with. This add-on replaces the stock search with the google custom search which will use google to search your shop only. The results are then shown to the customer in a modal pop-up. You will need to register your website in your google account to get your custom site code. You can do this by going here https://support.google.com/customsearch/answer/4513751?hl=en&ref_topic=4513742 Just follow the instructions to make your custom search. Then grab the code. You can edit the template file and add the whole code or we just use this cx=007037419634106605348:kyqm6jj5nak and add it to the add-on in admin. That’s it you search will now be working. It’s a no core change add-on. Simply install and turn on like any other add-on. That’s it enjoy. It has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.2.X only but should work on frozen too.
