  1. I'm manually installing Stripe as it didn't appear in drop down, and trying to copy over the files into their correct locations.. I've put stripe.php in correct places, but in my cpanel there is no such folder as Content so I am unsure about where to put the 2 x files content/cm_account_stripe_cards.php'
  2. Dear All, I'm getting an error with Stripe Checkout. It says; There has been an error processing your credit card Please try again and if problems persist, please try another payment method. Here is the debug email that I've received; $HTTP_POST_VARS: Array ( [matc] => on ) Your help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi there, I was wondering if anybody can help. We are tring to install Stripe as a payment system, and have installed the addon from here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9078 The site runs version 2.3.3 of osCommerce, and I know that it is included in the 2.3.4 version core files, but the addon look pretty simple to install, so we were hoping to be able to use it with 2.3.3 for the moment. I have followed the folder structure within the addon zipped files and placed the files here: /ext/modules/content/account/stripe/cards.php /includes/languages/english/modules/content/account/cm_account_stripe_cards.php /includes/languages/english/modules/payment/stripe.php /includes/modules/content/account/cm_account_stripe_cards.php /includes/modules/payment/stripe.php So after uploading the correct files to the correct folders, we are supposed to see the module @ Administration Tool -> Modules -> Payment -> Install Module page. There are many other payment gateways available on that page, but Stripe has not appeared within that list. Is there something Im missing here? Any help greatly appreciated! p.s. please note that the folder structure outlined in your online installation help guide (http://library.oscommerce.com/Package&en&stripe&oscom23&stripe_js) and in the similar PDF included in the zipped file itself (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9078) are different to the folder structure containing the files themselves within the zipped addon. So this did cause some minor confusion as to where the new files should be placed. In the end I went with the actual structure containing the files within the zipped folder itself, not the guide's structure.
  4. I was looking at using stripe.com as an alternative to another gateway (the one that recently advised a buyer to smash a violin rather than return it). Is there any support planned for this gateway service? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I am in desperate need of some help. I installed the Stripe payment option in my v2.3.4 online store as an additional option to PayPal. I am testing to make sure that the discount coupons that I set up in my admin area are calculated and processed upon payment by the customer. In both PayPal and now in Stripe the amount of the coupon discount are not either being carried or recognized on the processor's end. The coupon discount accurately displays on my checkout_confirmation page. This is very discouraging. I am hoping that someone can help me because it is delaying the grand opening of my online store because I want to offer a Grand Opening sale. I posted back in December about my PayPal issue and have not received any help or advice. I have attached screenshots of the Stripe log and the order info from my website.Stripe Log.pdfshopping cart page.pdf Any help that you can provide me would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure would help others. Thank you in advance. Tim
  6. I'm building a replacement web store based on 2.3.4 (not going to try the upgrade route from 2.2). All of the extra capability over 2.2 is exciting, but it's confusing, too. I've been using simple Paypal for the last 7 years with great success, but would love to start taking credit cards. Both Stripe and Braintree have what I'd like: simple fees per transaction only, no monthly charges or other extras, and credit card acceptance totally contained on my store site - no switching to another site and back again. So, what are the advantages/disadvantages of either one? Is there another one out there that's better given the preferences above? I have noticed that Braintree is already inserting random adds on my regular web surfing, so I'm not sure I like an outfit that appears to be that aggressive with marketing. I only visited their site once!?
