    Testing is not necessary because you are using it in osCommerce. Email them back and tell them that you are using osC and they will switch your account to the production server and give you the directions to change the server settings in the USPS module.

    The only common thing that keeps it from working is users not entering the Shipping Origin Zip Code in the Shipping configuration of the admin section.

    Have it print the error message into a file so you can see the exact problem. You will have to change the file path below to match your environment.

    if ($http->Get('/' . $api_dll . '?' . $request)) $body = $http->getBody(); // print_r("<br>request=$request"); // DEBUG CODE $http->Disconnect(); } else { return false; } $response = array(); while (true) { if ($start = strpos($body, '<Package ID=')) { $body = substr($body, $start); $end = strpos($body, '</Package>'); $response[] = substr($body, 0, $end+10); $my_response = substr($body, 0, $end+10); // DEBUG CODE //print_r("<br>response=$my_response"); // DEBUG CODE // ******* error responses ************ $myFile = "/home/yourname/public_html/usps_errors.txt"; $fh = fopen($myFile, 'w') or die("can't open file"); $stringData = $my_response; fwrite($fh, $stringData); fclose($fh); // ********************************* $body = substr($body, $end+9); } else { // ******* error responses ************ $myFile = "/home/your_name/public_html/usps_errors.txt"; $fh = fopen($myFile, 'w') or die("can't open file"); $stringData = $body; fwrite($fh, $stringData); fclose($fh); // ********************************* break; } }

    Find that code in the /includes/modules/shipping/usps.php file and add the code between the // **************
    Be sure to change the path and create the empty file with write permissions first. You may have to add the $my_response line or something else. I no longer have the original code to compare it.
    I'm sort of lazy that way...

    Hmm....it is stored. In the orders_total table. Where else did you want it stored, and would it be counter productive to store it in an additional location?

    According to the package description the credit card data is POSTed to the merchant website. That means that you will have to have an SSL cert, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PCI COMPLIANT. Look for another module is my opinion.

    And by the way, do you not care enough about your customer details to SSL protect them? (Yeah, that's harsh but just to make a point, not trying to be mean.)

    If you go to the USAePay website they have a drop in module designed specifically for osCommerce. (as they do for other shopping carts as well) Download it and follow the directions to install. Just like a contribution, except this contribution is written BY THE PROCESSOR so you would think it should be better.

    Personally, I would use the one provided by the payment processor over one from a contribution, unless I had some reason not to. Contributions could have been designed for a previous version of software utilized by USAePay. Any little thing changed by USAePay could result in the module not working, so I always use teh one provided by the processor, if they provide one, and USAePay does.

    I use it and it works fine for me. Maybe you should consider getting the one from the USAePay web site and install that and try it.

    Depends where the code for the box is, try /includes/column_left.php column_right.php or header.php
