I'm working on it but with osC v3.0 out on March 31, 2011, I am taking a wait and see to the actual need once the dust settles.

    [Contribution] STS v4

New STSv4.6 is now Available!!! *Once upload is approved as it is 1MB in size (due to the new sample templates provided). Added new Template Folder drop down menu in the admin to easily select all uploaded template sets similar to how Joomla! installs templates.Added new Open Source Template Sets to provide visual examples of the STSv4.6 features and ease of use. Added several new variables in sts_user_code.php. BUG FIXED: The $templatedir$ tag now works properly in all scripts. BUG FIXED: Corrected the code for STS Default enabled to prevent errors (includes/classes/sts.php). BUG FIXED: Corrected method for error messages appearing in the header (Use of $warning_header$ tag) BUG FIXED: Several lines of code modified in the boxes.php file for seamless infobox template implementation. Requires the use of Stop End Characters to facilitate proper variable functions. Built around the idea to separate template sets from dependability of stock osC images and stylesheets. Allows plug and play functionality to easily switch between properly designed template sets. This allows third party template set designers to easily port their designs. STS files are still the same for all osCommerce 2.2 versions Updated all STS documents. Updated Support Thread links.

Yes, it would work quite nicely for you. Check it out.

Image Enlarge Doesn't work with STS

The test/blank template should NEVER be used on a live shop. Its ONLY purpose is to display required tags needed to make STS function correctly. You DON'T need a stylesheet per say so that is why it is not listed in the blank template. PLEASE POST ALL OTHER COMMENTS TO THIS TOPIC IN THE PROPER STSV4 SUPPORT THREAD (link in my signature below).

    STS 'Click to Enlarge'

If you would have asked this in the proper STS support thread you would have gotten an answer a lot sooner. Too bad really. Here is your answer: 1. Never use "Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development)". 2. You have misconfigured either your STS Default Module or the STS Popup Image Module to have a file included that should not be included.
  11. bkellum

    STS include php script

Well too bad YOU can't use PHP inside your template. Everyone else who has read the STS User Manual can and they love it. They also know that the proper support thread is already established and all questions regarding STS should be asked there. Link is in my signature below...
  12. I agree. I do not like the new download thought process. Please revert back to the old method. Thank you.

    Modern Template for RC2a

Are you using STS? If so, look in your infobox templates, specifically infobox_categories.php.html.

I see you are getting similar errors from other posts that you have made. Where or what is letting you know about this error? This appears to be a problem with a third party contribution such as an errant SEO addon and not an issue with STS.

    [Contribution] STS v4

STSv4.6 is just around the corner. I have updated the docs and code and added in the new templates. Now I just need to do some testing and then create the zip package. This version will be quite a bit larger as it includes several sample template sets so I am hoping the Contribution Administrators allow it to be uploaded.

It's like the manual states, it picks up the code that is listed between the includes of column_left.php and column_right.php as it is coded in the root index.php file. The content tag picks up everything listed below (root/index.php): <?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . It appears you either have not installed STS completely or you have installed a third party contribution over the top of STS and now your STS installation is broken. Try installing STS from the beginning, focusing on the osCommerce core files that have been modified - or - do a file comparison with the STSv4.5.8 contribution and the files that are currently in your site.

Jessica, You are using the sample template folder named "full". This sample set includes a category template as an example (index.php_1_9.html). Since it is in the template set, STS automatically thinks you want to use this template for this category which just happens to be your hardware - mice category. STS is doing what it is supposed to. Please view: Important Posts for the STS newbie: Post #3755: http://forums.oscomm...p;#entry1226986 Post #4326: http://forums.oscomm...p;#entry1303555 Post #4974: http://forums.oscomm...p;#entry1361366 Post #3772: http://forums.oscomm...p;#entry1227769 Post #3757: http://forums.oscomm...p;#entry1227006 Please review the above for insight on how the Simple Template System allows you to make templates for pages, categories, home page, products and infoboxes. This is NOT true as STS would not have anything to do with how Products in Columns works. STS will automatically pull in the code that is created by that contribution. I use it in all of my STS installations and I do not have to modify either to make them work together.

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

http://www.oscommerc...y/contributions,2302 You would install the contribution above. Create a new tag for the new login box you just created. Add the new tag in your template where you want the login box to appear. To do #2, you would add the following code to your includes/modules/sts_inc/sts_column_left.php file: // Get Loginbox - don't show if member is logged in // Uncomment the following lines if you want to use the login feature // if (tep_session_is_registered('customer_id')) { // } else { require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'memberlogin.php'); $sts->restart_capture ('memberloginbox', 'box'); //Get the Loginbox with member name That would create your new tag: $memberloginbox By the way, all infoboxes are compatible with STS.

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

Note: Does anyone ever read the STS Manual or search this thread for the answer?? You still need to define the STS tag for the new infobox being created by that contribution. How to add a new infobox variable(tag) to STS: Add this code to sts_user_code.php $sts->start_capture(); require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'infobox_name.php'); $sts->stop_capture('infobox_name', 'box'); The above would create a STS user tag called $infobox_name. Change what you need to make it work for your specific box name.

You do not need to do any special coding to get the $myaccountlogoff to work correctly. If it is not working on your site, you either made changes to the default STS install or you did not install STS completely. If customer is logged in: text link to the My Account page followed by a separator and then by a text link to the logoff page. Same as $myaccount | $logoff If customer is not logged in: same as $myaccount. Use SSL if available. Created in: includes/modules/sts_inc/general.php Possible use: text link in header.
