  1. It's obvious that the discount is only being applied to the shipping calculation. Please make sure that you leave the settings for Gift Vouchers and Discount Coupons as they were when CCGV was installed. It appears that you have altered the settings.

    Another possibility is that you have not enabled discount coupons under Modules --> Order Total.

    Yes, I did mess up with the shipping and tax. Thanks, and thanks for this wonderful contribution.

  2. I'm having difficult to get the percentage discount work. Use Fix price disount works perfect, not for the percentage. For example,

    Sub-Total: $137.50

    Tax (15%): $20.63

    Discount Coupons:111111: -$3.00 (I set the value 10% in the admin, don't know where this $3 coming from??)

    Total: $215.13

    Anything I'm missing??? Thanks

  3. I installed the Information Pages Unlimited, great contribution, with no error at all. Thanks a lot.

    After I added a few articles, such as Privacy, "Contact Us", "Term of Use", I feel like it would be more appropriate to move these information to the footer, so my question is that is it possible to move the entire "Infomation" infobox to the footer, and make all the articles a footer style?

  4. Hi All,

    I recently installed the "Google XML Sitemap w/ Admin" mod. I (think) I followed all the instructions to the letter, however when I enter the admin->tools->google sitemaps and click on the step one button I get the following message in a popup window.

    ------ ERROR MESSAGE ------

    Warning: main(includes/languages/english/FILENAME_GOOGLE_SITEMAPS): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/sharpe-family.co.uk/subdomains/deliclass/httpdocs/osCommerce/sitemaps.index.php on line 33

    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/english/FILENAME_GOOGLE_SITEMAPS' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/local/psa/apache_base/2005-04-21/apache_nossl/lib/php') in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/sharpe-family.co.uk/subdomains/deliclass/httpdocs/osCommerce/sitemaps.index.php on line 33

    Ive probably done something very simple wrong, if anyone could shed some light on this I will be most grateful!

    I'm having exactly same problem, please let me know if you find a fix for that. I start thinking it's a bug

  5. Installed more_pics_6_v1.2 with no error, very smooth installation and good documentation. After that, the main picture of the production page no longer shows as thunbnail, instead, it becomes the original size. I tried the all the switches in the configuration for more pics, doens't change anything. Did I miss anything?

    Please ignore my previous thread. I fixed it.

  6. Hi there

    I am new to the forum and am currently evaluating ?osCommerce? for my web site. I am now trying to get to grips with the ?Easy Populate? and I am experiencing the same problems that lots of people seem to have already had but after exhaustive searching for solutions on th forum and trying all sorts of things I still cannot get it to upload.

    Version info

    Easy Populater 2.79a

    I am able to download the file from the database but surprised to find it only contains the product information but is still useful. Is it supposed to download the complete database or only the product information?

    I have changed line 38 to which gives me a csv text file

    **********code start*******

    global $separator;

    if (EP_DELIMITER == '\t') {

    $separator = "\t"; // oscommerce stores escaped delimeters in mySQL as a string and not an actual tab.

    } else {

    //$separator = EP_DELIMITER;

    $separator = ",";

    **********code end*******

    I have created the directory catalog/temp and CHMOD 777 and check it is so but when I try to upload the same file I downloaded, which I have converted to a tab delimited file and made sure the EOREOR are present, I get the following error messages.

    *********start of error message****

    Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIR/test.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32 Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpvn8wHy' to '/home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIR/test.txt' in /home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32

    File uploaded.

    Temporary filename: /tmp/phpvn8wHy

    User filename: test.txt

    Warning: file(/home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIRtest.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 621 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/bwprice100/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 643

    *******end of error message******

    I can see from the error message that it seems to be looking for a director ?EP_TEMP_DIR? and not a directory called ?temp?. I have tried various things but if I change all text in ?easypopulate.php? from ?EP_TEMP_DIR? to temp and the one on line 621 to ?temp/? all the errors disappear but the file still does not upload.

    I have read all the documentation I can find until my head is spinning, so any help would be very much appreciated.

    I strongly recommand you read the 1readmefirst file in the download package. There are more steps you need to do.

  7. I didn't fix any of my SQL errors yet. Is there any way to remove the line that contains the duplicate entry and run it again? Or, is there a way to remove from the DB what was already added? How could I change the syntax on the insert that I already did? I looked in phpmyAdmin and couldn't find the information.

    For the hell of it I did change my spreadsheet and put the product number first and tried uploading the file. The file uploaded without errors, but, no products were entered into the DB.

    For your 2 SQL errors, delete the first line which causes the duplicate problem. and change the 3rd line to

    INSERT INTO configuration VALUES ('', 'Temp Directory', 'EP_TEMP_DIR', 'temp/', 'If you changed your directory structure from stock and do not have /catalog/temp/, then you will need to change this accordingly.', 17, 1, now(), now(), NULL, NULL);

    Did you notice I change "you'll" to "you will", because that's another problem I found in version 2.79

    If you have problem to find admin\modules\filesnames (which is addressed in step 6 in the 1readmefirst file), use "admin\include\filesnames.php instead. That works for me.

  8. Jack, I have the same problem as iainsanderson. He seems to have solved it by downloading an older version. I would like to avoid that. Since I am not very experienced with databases, I'm a bit confused with the "not defined" piece. I've opened the database_table.php file and see all the table names defined - do I just need to add "EP_TEMP_DIR" into that list?

    Also - when I downloaded the copy of the database within the EasyPopulate admin interface, I open it to find the same results as fenyullow. I get this: v_products_modelEP_DELIMITERv_products_imageEP_DELIMITERv_products_name_1EP_DELI

    followed by the rest of the data...

    What I did was remove all the capital lettered columns and then added my data into the correct column. Tried to upload it and got the same error as iainsanderson:

    Warning: move_uploaded_file(/web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIR/template3.csv): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/admin/includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32

    Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpGfOggN' to '/web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIR/template3.csv' in /web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/admin/includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32

    Warning: file(/web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIRtemplate3.csv): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 620

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /web/sites/impulse/buttonbling.com/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 642

    Can you point me in the right direction please?

    Thank you!

    Read 1readmefirst document in the download package instead of "so called" manual, it has more steps.

  9. You are correct the other file had a lot more instructions, but, even those are wrong. I couldn't find this file: 6. Edit file \admin\modules\filenames.php and add in bottom before ?> : in the location in the directions.

    I'm now getting errors when running the sql update.

    Error 1

    MySQL said:

    #1062 - Duplicate entry '17' for key 1

    Error 2

    MySQL said:

    #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

    Getting somewhere, just not sure where.

    You're right, I couldn't find admin\modules\filenames.php either, I just simple use admin\filenames.php instead (if I remember correctly). I didn't see the MySQL error though, so can't help you there.

  10. I tried your solutions. My export looks a lot cleaner. But, it does not include the one product I entered manually or any of the attributes I have added. My uploads still don't work at all:

    File uploaded.

    Temporary filename: /tmp/phpd4w7FK

    User filename: catalog.csv

    Size: 70329

    Warning: file(/home/andover/public_html/catalog/EP_TEMP_DIRcatalog.csv): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/andover/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 620

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/andover/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 642

    I'm starting to think it is time to move on.

    Finally I got it working. I think somebody got to improve the documentation for this wonderful contribution.

    I was following the manual which is supposed to contain the full instruction, as matter of fact, it's not, it gave all kinds of error. If you read the 1readme file, it contains more steps than the manual, and I follow that, and everything works fine.

  11. I cannot find the configuration variables section? The instructions say to go to easypopulate.php. Do I go to the file itself and open it with an editor or do I go to the file on ther server with a browser (catalog/admin/easypopulate.php)?

    Also, when I do an export I get this:

    Is this the correct output for the file? It imports into a spreadsheet as one cell. Why is that?

    I'm guessing that the "EP_DELIMITER" should be the tab or what ever the delimiter is. I'm also guessing that v_products_model, ETC.... should be in a column before the model, ETC... information in the spreadsheet. Then EOREOR at the end of the row. Am I correct?

    One more, if I have different sizes for a product do I have to put v_products_description_1, v_products_description_2, ETC... for each different size?

    I had the same "EP_DELIMITER" with v2.79. I open it with notepad, and replace this "EP_DELIMITER" with a "*", then use Excel open the text file, use "*" delimiters, and made it look more reasonable.

    But after I imported into db, I got a warning

    Warning: file(/home2/website/public_html/osC/EP_TEMP_DIREP2006Mar08-1301.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/website/public_html/osC/admin/easypopulate.php on line 637

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/website/public_html/osC/easypopulate.php on line 642

    Sounds like the temp directory is not right, I have no idea how to fix it. I just created a temp folder "EP_TEMP_DIR" at catalog, set it 777. Anything else I need to do?
