    I'm not sure if I've read this right But.. Why have you manually split it and not used EP to split your file?

    [Contribution] Infobox Admin

    Quackmaster: Currently working on all three of the above. (1) done :) (2) done and is controlled via different themes. :) (3) in progress... :x I have made available the work in progress to a couple of people expecting a little feedback....... to no avail :wink: A link to my work is : http://www.dcpcwebdesignonline.co.uk/ecomm...mercetemplates/ I have now moved the theme select from the sessions to be made available to members only. I would like to make the admin available to view but the last time I did it was abused. If you would like to see PM and I will give you the password. Also looking for people to help with this project any interested please PM. Lango
  8. Based on an idea by Michael Cohen This contribution will allow you to select which Infoboxes to display on your site through the Admin panel. You can also choose which column, and what order they are displayed in. Written for osCommerce v2.2MS1/CVS Also working on a loaded5 snapshot Feedback/problems Either post here or email me http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1175

    Linda This is the header you have in your categories.php file. $info_box_contents = array(); $info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left', 'text' => BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES ); new infoBoxHeading($info_box_contents, $newtheme, true, false); Try changing it to this: $info_box_contents = array(); $info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left', 'text' => BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES ); new infoBoxHeading($info_box_contents, $newtheme, false, false); do the same thing with your manufacturers.php file Paul

    The thema select mod is now available to those who would like to use it: You will either need to running a LOADED4/5 by Ian Wilson or you will need to install the thema contribution by By Ferhat Kurt before installing this mod. Please, this is how I have done it, I don't know enough about the session handlers to know if this could cause any problems!! It has been running online without any problems for quite some time now. Any info for or against would be gratefully received. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1134 Also it is released under the GPL Licence rules(forgot to add the licence to the zip file) :oops: Lango

    Style Selection

    Conversion, Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I have done something similar where the user can select there own theme. www.dcpcwebdevelopment.co.uk/themetest On entering the site the the theme is set to "RAMA" . This is done through admin. On the left hand side you will see a infobox where you can change themes. (this was possible by using the contribution by Tom O'neil) If this is what you are looking for let me know and I will send you the code. jchasick wrote: If anyone thinks this would be of benefit in the contributions area again let me know and I will glady add it.

    New theme contibution

    Just downloaded most recent snapshot and installed to the instructions, You will need to make one change on the database side you must change the configuration_id from this: INSERT INTO `configuration` (`configuration_id`, `configuration_title`, `configuration_key`, `configuration_value`, `configuration_description`, `configuration_group_id`, `sort_order`, `last_modified`, `date_added`, `use_function`, `set_function`) VALUES("122", "Site Theme Options", "STORE_THEME", "black_orange", "You can change site thema rnrnform here.", "1", "19", "2003-01-28 21:41:48", "0000-00-00 00:00:00", "", "tep_cfg_select_option(array('WhatsNew', 'original', 'blue', ' black_orange'),"); to this: INSERT INTO `configuration` (`configuration_id`, `configuration_title`, `configuration_key`, `configuration_value`, `configuration_description`, `configuration_group_id`, `sort_order`, `last_modified`, `date_added`, `use_function`, `set_function`) VALUES("130", "Site Theme Options", "STORE_THEME", "black_orange", "You can change site thema rnrnform here.", "1", "19", "2003-01-28 21:41:48", "0000-00-00 00:00:00", "", "tep_cfg_select_option(array('WhatsNew', 'original', 'blue', ' black_orange'),"); Other than that i don't see any problems. The reason it does not work on the loaded4 snapshot is the fact that Ian has included the contribution By Ferhat Kurt and already has a theme based system.

    Bert The very top part of your HTML_OUTPUT.php should look like this: <?php /* $Id: html_output.php,v 1.48 2002/11/23 02:08:11 thomasamoulton Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright (c) 2002 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ //// // Parse the data used in the html tags to ensure the tags will not break function tep_parse_input_field_data($data, $parse) { return strtr(trim($data), $parse); } It looks as though the function has been deleted or changed. I've never met anyone on this forum and most I would never want to. So many negative people :!: This will be my first and last contribution to this forum. People just don't want to help themselves they need and expect everything done for them :x :x Yes there are a few mistakes in the instructions but mostly errors occure through either not following the readMe or just typing mistakes. For all interested for a short time a full set of instructions (and yes I have tested them four times on clean snapshots) and they work!!!! Files to download are also there.. www.dcpcwebdevelopment.co.uk/instructions/ AND no advertising here just in case thats what you think :cry: Signing off :cry:
