You posted this in the wrong place, you are using a different PayPal contribution than the one here.

Does this work with oscommerce-2.2ms2-051113 ? I am testing with sandbox and no encryption. On the return from PayPal the status stays at "Preparing [PayPal IPN]" and is not updated to "Processing" as set in Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status. Also where is the order written on the server and at what point does that happen?

Get the "Download / Free Ship /Pay v5.3 MS 2.2 Farrukh Saeed 7 Aug 2003" which has the sql file.

Since these issues don't seem to have a solution at this time, I'm going back to "osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 2003-07-14"and PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN 2.9 which seems to be working fine in the sandbox.

I'm going back to "osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 2003-07-14" since I was having issues with PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN working and was wondering which Downloads Contoller version I should use. I've already noticed that with v5.3 there is a problem with when auto return from paypal takes me back to osCommerce there is no download information viewable unless you do a page refresh.

I did a test to figure out if the problem was at the PayPal end. So I installed an old version of osCommerce that went back to 6/2003 and PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN 2.9. The results were that on return the Admin's "Orders" were updated - PayPal was shown as completed and the "PayPal IPN" also now showed the order. The thing that did not work was the stock osDowloads ... upon return no download information was visable, until you reloaded the page, then it appeared.

No test mode is off. I'm testing with sandbox. I'm not using PWA.

I have the same problem and I don't get the debug emails either. I get this both with running it live or with the sandbox. I went back to a fresh install and that didn't help. I wonder what versions people are using that have this working.

I'm getting the same thing so downloads will no longer work. I'm not getting and emails at this point either, are you?

I think that you just need to put anything there like http://yourshoppingcarturl.com, it doesn't matter what because the module will tell PayPal what url to use anyways.

There has been alot of confusion between osCommerce PayPal IPN Module For 2.2MS2 and PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN, they are not they same program, yet people seem to be cross posting and it is hard to fingure out a soultion to my paypal problems when I see a soultion that is actually ment for another contribution. Please do not just post for "PayPal IPN" there are two contributions out there, be more specific.
