  1. Re: SEo urls in easy populate - grr. no, you dont want duplicate content indexed. i cant believe there isnt a fix for this!! poo.
  2. Jack, Thanks so much for supporting this contribution. ive been reading the support thread and downloaded a bunch of versions of the google base contrib to try to figure out whats going on here. It looks like the the changes from feb 12 by celextel -> july 15th 09 by you have changed the files from one root level file (/googlebase.php) to two admin files (/admin/googlefeeder.php & /admin/feeders.php). it seems that the readme file, however, still dates from feb 06. also, as per the instructions in the readme file, it asks the installer to add //Feeder Systems require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'feeders.php'); to the left_column.php file, however, there is no feeders.php in the admin/includes/boxes folder. now, for MY real problem, which i havent come across in the support forum yet (for these new files anyway); after i configure my settings in /admin/googlefeeder.php, and then navigate there, i get "Internal Server Error. Please contact a server administrator." Any thoughts? I appreciate your time & support. Thanks, Lauren
  3. actually, the problem is with the original zip file - its from a mac. when you unzip the file, you need to unpack the original files folder by folder. in the zip file, it will look like there is a white file with no file extention, and its unrecognized by windows. the other file is a folder, with the same name. the white , blank file will be unpacked first, which means the folders will not unpack properly. pull each folder one by one, goes into each folder and unpack each subfolder individually.
  4. ok. ive searched and searched. this dosent seem to be a problem for anyone else, so maybe i just f'ed it up. the feed function itself appears to work. i did not install the admin for it, i just parse it through the url. the txt file, however, is being rejected from google. its saying 'unregocnized header". i tried opening it in excel, it wont open at all no matter if i change the delimiter, etc. the file itself looks wrong to me. is it possible to change delimiters? it seems that the delimiter is a 'space', which is a problem because there are spaces between my descriptions and names of products. my txt file isnt 'organized' - its like this: <B>i should mention<B/> that i dont have images in osc for any of them, and some of them dont have descriptions yet. is this whats throwing it off? any suggestions are appriciated. THANK YOU!!! :P
