  1. Thanks. I uploaded the new version and when I tried to set up the configuration I got this error: Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 196 Cannot change the mode of file (/home/username/public_html/admin/sitemonitor_configure.php) And again, when deleting the reference file I get: Warning: opendir() [function.opendir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/username/public_html) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/username/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 56 Warning: opendir(/home/username/public_html) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: Operation not permitted in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 56 Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 58 Reference file creation failed. Do I need to change permissions somewhere? Or what I am doing wrong here? Thanks for any help! jailaxmi
  2. Hi, Could you elaborate on this? I am getting an error message after trying your previous modification. Before that, these are the problems I had: If I clicked on Delete Reference File from the admin area, I'd get this message: Warning: opendir() [function.opendir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/username/public_html) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/username/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 56 Warning: opendir(/home/username/public_html) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: Operation not permitted in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 56 Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 58 Reference file creation failed. When I tried to set up the Configuration in the admin area, I'd get this error: Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /home/username/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 195 Cannot change the mode of file (/home/username/public_html/admin/sitemonitor_configure.php) Any ideas/suggestions about what I am doing wrong here? Thanks! jailaxmi
  3. Hi, How about: catalog/index.php catalog/products_info.php and catalog/includes/modules/products_listing.php? That should help... Thanks a lot!!! :) jailaxmi
  4. Hi, I just tried that configuration and I still cannot see the player on the product pages. I tried it backwards too, just in case, but nothing... Any other suggestions? Perhaps I should look at your source pages closely and compare them to mine, see if I screwed something up somewhere... Thanks! jailaxmi
  5. Hi, I installed this contribution and have been trying to fix things by reading some of the posts here, but I still haven't been able to resolve some issues: The player shows in the admin area but not in the main catalog. I am able to upload files and play them in the admin area. I wasn't able before, when I added the "/" in the configure.php files, but then I switched back to the original code (and noticed that all the other files in the configure.php files are written the same way). Anyway, the player doesn't show in the catalog, and now when I click on the 'click to enlarge' nothing happens. I double checked the instructions to make sure I didn't mess up the popup script of the product picture with the popupplayer script for the Player. Also, on the product list I can see 'Listen' on the bar next to 'Buy Now' but there is nothing to click on. Perhaps I misplaced an image file, or something? So what am I doing wrong here? How can I make this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated! jailaxmi
  6. Hello, I am a bit confused as to what to download to have this contribution working. I downloaded PWA 1.0.2 but there's only instructions and no files to upload anywhere. I read this whole thread and am under the impression that there are some files that are supposed to be uploaded to different folders. Could someone guide me a little here so as to what do download and what instructions to follow to have this working? Thanks!!! jailaxmi
  7. I have another problem... If I want to get a batch of orders by orner numbers (say, 1-25), it generates pdfs without any problem, but if I want to get a batch using a date from, I get this error message: Invalid date, Please enter a valid date in Year-Month-Day (0000-00-00) format. Strange thing is, the date is that format, it shows up that way if I click on the menu with the calendar thingy. Any suggestions to fix this? Thanks! jailaxmi
  8. OK, never mind... I re-installed it and it's working fine. I must have missed something in the first install. jailaxmi
  9. I just installed this contribution and got the ssame error message. What am I missing? I checked the filenames file and it's correct. What did I do wrong jailaxmi
  10. I use the Box_categories_pro contribution for my catalog menu, so that all categories and subcategories are shown at once when you enter the store. I was wondering if there is a way I could make the main categories BOLD or a different color, so that they are clearly separate from their subcategories. They become bold when you click on them or on any of their subcategories, to show where in the catalog you are, but I would like to make them more prominent right from the start with a different color and bold type. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! jailaxmi
  11. I have installed this contribution without any problems and want to thank everyone involved with it. It is awsome! That said, I just have a simple question that I thought I had seen before but can't find after reading and re-reading the thread... How do I get rid of "this article was published on such and such date" at the end of the article? Thanks! jailaxmi
  12. Never mind... I found another contribution that seems to fit my needs better, the Article Manager contribution. jailaxmi
  13. I was trying to install this contribution, but I couldn't find the includes/databases.php nor the admin/includes/databases.php files and my guess is that it is not working at all (half of the store appears blank) because my installation is incomplete, since I don't have those files to add the "define the table_information" input. Can anyone help me figure out why I don't have them, or how to add them to my store? I am new to php. I did a clean oscommerce installation somewhere else to see if those files were there by default (and I had maybe accidentally deleted them), but they aren't. Any help would be greatly appreciated! jailaxmi
  14. I haven't gotten there yet. I installed everything and there is a new box on my store that says "Infopages", but I get this message when trying to access my admin area: Warning: main(DIR_WS_INFOPAGESapplication_top.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bluelot4/public_html/ayurvedabookstore/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 165 Warning: main(DIR_WS_INFOPAGESapplication_top.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bluelot4/public_html/ayurvedabookstore/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 165 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_INFOPAGESapplication_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bluelot4/public_html/ayurvedabookstore/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 165 Any ideas/suggestions? jailaxmi
  15. I have the exact same problem. I've kinda given up on this contribution... jailaxmi
  16. Oops, I thought I had posted this in the contribution thread! Sorry about that. I was talking about Extra Pages 4.3. I'll go there now... jailaxmi
  17. ok, I placed that file in theleft column and it seems to be working right. At least my store looks complete. Now the problem I have is that the new pages I add don't show up. What am I missing here? Thanks for any help! jailaxmi
  18. I just installed this contribution, version 4.3 and chose to add the info_pages.php box in the right column (catalog/includes/column_right.php). I can see the page manager in the admin area and edited the main page (index), but no info box appears on the store site and all the other boxes of the right column has disappeared, except for the shopping cart. There is no information box of any kind on that column: the "Reviews," search, etc., boxes are gone! Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated! jailaxmi
  19. Hey, thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I'll do a search for the category menu thing... Thanks for the advise, too. jailaxmi :D
  20. OK, I figured it out... the menu on top of the category was messing things up, as some of the names (authors) were too long and were stretching the menu. So all good now! jailaxmi
  21. I have another question about this contribution... How do I change the stylesheet so that you don't have to click on a category to see a subcategory, but you can see all categories and subcategories right from the start? So, when someone enters my store they can see right away what type of products there are. I hope I'm being clear... Thanks! jailaxmi
  22. Hi, I used this great contribution for my site and everything works fine except for one thing: in only one of the categories the right column appears to go out of the main frame. In other words, it is not aligned with the rest of the store, as are all the other categories, boxes, etc. You can take a look here: http://ayurvedabookstore.com/index.php?cPath=21_27 If you click around, you'll se that the rest of the site looks consistently aligned. Any ideas/suggestions on how to fix this? I am still working on the store before it comes alive and want it to look just right. Thanks! jailaxmi

  24. Could you (or someone) do a contribution package for this contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1026 I tried to use it and somehow screwed up things in my store and spent two days fixing them... Then I found your contribution and thought it would be perfect for me, so I won't screw up things anymore. In other words, I am looking for a safe shortcut. Any help woud be greatly appreciated! jailaxmi
  25. I have exactly the same problem! What did I miss? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This contribution is just what I was looking for! Thanks!
