  1. This works for the New Articles, but what needs to be done for the articles.php which is the All Articles? I find four references in the code for the above and changed them but still get the error message.

    I found the problem. define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.mydomain.com/'); Should be: define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.mydomain.com');
  3. I am using admin_login contrib. When I log into admin and click any of the links in the control panel, the browser gets redirected to the login.php page and I have to log in again. Once I log in and click a link in the control panel the cycle starts all over again. What could be causing this to happen?

    I changed the file permissions on sitemonitor_configure.php to 666 and it no longer shows the wrong path in the error log. But I still get an error: PHP Warning: fopen(sitemonitor_reference.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /site/html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 308, referer: http://www.mysite.com/admin/sitemonitor_admin.php

    When I try to delete reference file and create a new reference file, run Site monitor, I get the following error message: PHP Warning: opendir() [function.opendir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/username/public_html) is not within the allowed path(s): (/tmp/:/tmp:/usr/:/var/www/public_html/site/) in /var/www/public_html/site/html/admin/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 162 Where is the script pulling up /home/username/public_html? That is a wrong path. Also where is it pulling up /tmp/:/tmp:/usr/:/var? This is also a wrong path

  7. I installed OSCommerce over 3 years ago and I cannot remember what I used for the administration contribution. I currently have 3 admin users and I need to change their passwords but cannot figure out how to do it. Do not see an option. And there is no 'forgot password' option. I thought I used the admin user levels contrib but my database does not look like it would. I only have 4 fields in my administrator database table: IS, SName, SPassword, sGUID (encrypted password), sData And there are no other administrator tables. I thought about installing another contrib, but I am afraid it will conflict with the one I am using and I will not be able to log in at all. I have attached an image of the login page. Anybody have any suggestions of how I can control the usernames and passwords?

    I was able to find an old backup of my files. I am using admin_login contrib, that is why I could not find any files in admin to control passwords. The contrib has you create usernames and password in the sql before you run the sql. Once you run it the passwords are encrypted. Thus you are not able to edit usernames or passwords without deleting the table and running the sql again.

    I have tons of contribs and edits to this site. It is not feasible at this time for me to upgrade. I am trying to take other steps to slow down the hacking. One step I am trying is not working right-renaming the admin folder: I have changed the folder name of my admin folder. Everything is working fine until I click 'Confirm Order'. The order goes through fine, but the sending of email invocie is not working because it shows the wrong path. Here is the error: PHP Warning: require(/html/admin/includes/languages/english/invoice.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /html/includes/modules/email_invoice/email_invoice.php on line 30, referer: https://www.domain.c...onfirmation.php The path above to the admin folder is showing the old folder name of admin. I have done the following in newadminfolder/includes/configure.php so why is the path above showing admin instead of newadminfolder? define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/newadminfolder/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/newadminfolder/'); // absolute pate required define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/var/www/public_html/ahaplace/html/newadminfolder/'); Here is what is strange: I can keep the above settings in configure.php and change the admin folder name back to admin and then everything works fine. That is telling me that email_invoice.php is not looking at the configure.php file for the path even though the code in email_invoice.php shows it should: require(DIR_FS_ADMIN . "/" . DIR_WS_LANGUAGES . $language . "/" . FILENAME_ORDERS_INVOICE);

    Thanks for the manual link. I have reviewed the manual and I still do not see any info on how you can edit/delete/add administrators with the default admin.

    Ok, I have the default admin. I cannot find anywhere where I can add or edit administrators. So, I have gone to the oscommerce site to find documentation and I cannot find anywhere on the site a manual. I read it is suppose to be under the solutions tab but I still cannot find a manual. I must be blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, so can you give me the URL for the manual.
  13. I have oinstalled the discount coupon codes contrib. When I go to checkout, choose shipping option (only one) and then click continue I get a white screen. In my apache error log this is what I get. Any ideas of what the problem is? I did not have the problem until I installed the coupon module. I disable it, but still have the problem. There should not be any problem with the checkout_shipping.php because it is not edited for this module.

    Payment module is authorize.net. I would assume many are using this for downloads. Does anyone know if it take over the job of creating order records? If so, what would be the problem with it. What is creating the 1999 message itself that comed up when placing an order? I will check out the checkout_process.php

    Yes I do. After further checking, I found the test orders that had the 1999 date when I placed the order. They are listed in the orders table, but in the last_modified field it says NULL, it does not have any date. The lastest test I did I put the status for authorize.net as both Download as Now Available and Updated-I get the 1999 date. If I put it as Processing, I have to manually make the download available.

    Can anyone give me specific settings for order status, processing, authorize.net, etc. that will make downloads immediate. I am only using the authorize.net payment module-not using check module. What I am looking for is something like, download status should be 10, processing should be 8, authorize.net should use processing status or download status, etc. Should I make a completely new status for authorize.net? I have tried every combination I can think of. Almost all of them give me the Expiry Date: Dec 1999.

    I am trying to get the download module to work. No matter what I try I am getting the following when an order is placed: Expiry date: Friday 03 December, 1999 What controls this phrase? I have my expiration days set at 3 days. I have even tried no expiration limit and I still get the phrase above.

    Super Download Contrib I cannot find anyway to make it so that the download is available immediately after a customer submits their order. Credit cards are processed using authorize.net. Here is the latest things I have tried: Latest test I set the download status to '0' and authorize.net status to 'processing'. The checkout_success.php page comes up and shows "Download your products now" and shows the name of he download file, but there is no link and the following phrase is listed: Expiry date: Friday 03 December, 1999 So, obviously the download is not available because of the Expiry date. How is it coming up with this date? Where can I change this date? Even if I was to get the Expiry date issue to work, the problem would be if my customer is wanting to continue allowing checks as payment. A person who makes payment by check would be able to download the product immediately and not mail check. But maybe I can convince them to not take checks for any of their products. There is no way to stop check payments just on downloads is there? Another test: I have download status at '10' and authorize.net status to 'processing'. This of course does not allow checkout_success.php. But it also does not make it that when the customer logs into their account to be able to download the file immediately.     I don't use paypal, I use authorize.net and changing the status to 12 in the download configuration does not help. Still cannot make it so that they can get their downloads instantly. What order status should the authorize.net be in the payment module?

    Is there anyway to check and see if a person has downloaded a file-to confirm that they received the file?
