    [Contribution] - Search Box Anywhere

You need to edit the file /includes/languages/english.php Just before the ?> at the bottom of the file, add the following: You will have to edit the other language files if you run more then English. Also you need to make and/or upload the button image and make sure you call the button button_search.gif One last thing, your site is a very graphical intensive site and loads very slowly. You may want to consider a hosting company which offers 1000Mbps up link to the internet. Most hosting companies only offer 100Mbps, but the company TopDawg Hosting Inc. within the US offers 1000Mbps up linked servers and has VERY competitive prices too! Just Google Search the company name to find them. Also want to say: GREAT OsCommerce MOD!! Works Wonderful....

    [Contribution] Family Products-MS2

Hey Chris, Is there a way to do two things to your great mod.? The first is to allow the admin to delete just one product from a family without having to delete the family and start over? (like if a product was discontinued and you want to remove just that product) Second. Is there a way to get BUY NOW buttons in the family displayed products? Thanks for any help!

    External Login Script

I'm hoping someone can help me out with getting an external login script working. What I have is a file upload/download script that has it's own login. What I would like to do is have that script query the osCommerce database so clients can just have one login username and password. Now from two days of searching and reading, I'm still a little comfused on just what encryption osCommerce uses for their passwords. What I get this uses MD5 + Salt. Now this upload/download script I have integrated into vBulletin boards that also use MD5 + Salt for their passwords. But for the life of me I can not get it integrated into osCommerce. Here is what I got so far where I login and query the database for the upload/download script's login. if (eregi("^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9 _-]{0,40}[a-z0-9]$", $user_name)) { $opendb = mysql_connect($DB_SERVER,$DB_SERVER_USERNAME,$DB_SERVER_PASSWORD); mysql_select_db($DB_DATABASE); $eupassword2 = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM customers WHERE customers_email_address = '$user_name'"); if(mysql_numrows($eupassword2) == 0) { die('No Member'); } $eupassword3 = mysql_result($eupassword2,0,"customers_password"); $userinfo_from_db = $user_name; $salt = mysql_result($eupassword2,0,"salt"); $userfilename = "$users_folder_name/$user_name"; if ($eupassword2) { $newpass = md5(md5($user_pass).$salt); if($newpass == $eupassword3) { // At this point I should have passed the login process and now continue with some script checks. if($user_name) { $logged_user_name = $user_name; if (!file_exists($userfilename)) { $user_status = $default_user_status; $user_email = $euemail; $user_account_creation_time = time(); $user_temp_info = ""; $user_wish_receive_digest = 0; $activationcode = USER_ACTIVE; $enc_user_pass = "-"; save_user_profile($userinfo_from_db); } else { load_user_profile($userinfo_from_db); } At first I thought it was because the script was wrote for a user name and not an email address and the @ was killing me. But when I try test for the user name and not test@me.com I get the die "No Member". So I see it has done the query and found the customer table and then passed the $user_name check and then dies at the password check. So after banging my head on the desk for days, I thought I would post and ask for help on this problem. ANY help would be great!! Thanks
