  1. Has anyone updated the free shipping with $X purchase contribution so you can disallow certain items? I've got it set up to allow free shipping after $100 in sales, but the problem is we've got a few items that a really really heavy - someone just recently bought nothing but heavy items and bought just over $100 worth of stuff - well the shipping was nearly $60 on it (shipping to Japan) so we really got hit hard again. The best solution for me would be to make the discount shut down based on weight, but just being able to select certain items and exclude them from the discount would be just fine. Paul
  2. I haven't seen one, but what we did was simply create a catagory called "shipping insurance" and then had products like $1-50, $51-100, etc. and then charged whatever the post office charges for insurance. It's worked fine so far - a bit kludgy but it works. Paul
  3. Can anyone tell me the name of this contribution? I remember it being uploaded a few months ago. Basically it would allow you to create a page outside of your catalog directory that would show images from the Catalog. Essentially I want to create an HTML only site for just ONE of our product lines and use the images from the catalog in this site. I know the contribution exists, but I can't remember what it's called. Thanks Paul
  4. Arigatou gozaimasu! Now I just need to fix free shipping so it won't allow my heaviest products to be shipped for free and I'm stylin! Paul
  5. Ian, I haven't messed with this contribution yet, so maybe it already does this, but.... I was thinking it would be really nice if this contribution worked a little differently. Instead of charging MORE based on payment type, it should charge LESS based on payment type. This is just simple psychology - customers want to feel like they're getting a deal - so if I give them a 10% discount for paying with cashiers check / money order instead of a credit card, they feel like they're saving money - in reality I'm charging a 10% fee to everyone who uses a credit card. Maybe this contrib already does this, but if not it would be neat. Thanks! Paul

  7. Hey Ian! I just installed .94 and I have 2 questions. I'm using an older 2.2CVS, so I don't have currencies.php I have currencies_info.php - I did a search and replace on the coupon admin to point to the proper function, but I'm still getting this error: Warning: Missing argument 1 for currenciesinfo() in /home/nhgene/www/admin/includes/classes/currencies_info.php on line 6 Any ideas on this? Second - You mentioned about changing the sort order of the order total module so that the final total was at the bottom. However right now the total displayed still does not subtract the coupon amount - do you have a module that takes care of this and shows total, coupon amount and then final total? Thanks! Paul
  8. Ok Ian, I'm a moron - what do you mean by "change your sort order"? I would love for the final total to include the coupon amount rather than having the coupon at the bottom as well. Thanks Paul
