  1. this is not related to the contribution file, but to the checkout process of oscommerce. you can accomplish this by modifying the checkout_shipping.php file.
  2. thers is an error because the last word is the same. so use: MODULE_SHIPPING_REGIONS & MODULE_SHIPPING_EXPRESSREGIONS &/or MODULE_SHIPPING_PRIORITYREGIONS etc......
  3. The data base field has a limit on how much text you can enter. to overcome this, just break the states up into additional regions
  4. Very well said...I couldnt have suggested a better idea myself. Ald, you can do the same thing but weight wise. set everything at a very low weight and then set the first weight break off at something very high.
  5. Make sure you are uploading all the files in this contributions. and make sure you are doing that is ascii
  6. This is now possible with the version i posted today. it has a 4th region called "global" any country/state not defines, goes by the rates degfined to the global region.
  7. I have posted a new zip file of this contribution. this new version, installs 3 variations of itself. enabling you to set up 3 shipping classes, example; ground, 3 day, and next day. i think this is what people have been asking for. you can download it here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,818
  8. Thats is very possible. I have installed this module in 4 different variations on a single site. its a little hard to explain, but someone a few pages back posted a very good explaintion. I would re-explain, but there is a at least a couple pages of that topic discussed. just go bakc a few pages on this same thread. Nezah.Net
  9. browse to catalog\includes\languages\[language]\modules\shipping\regions there you can change the wording to anything related to this module.
  10. Check the shipping/packaging setting under the configuration group. if you can't figure this out reply here or send me a private message with a link to check this strange behavior.
  11. I have posted a version that fixed the weight convert issue. those of you having that problem, just redownload and replace the files....Tested and working perfect.
  12. I have been tempted to do this, but i think i will wait till ms3 comes out. If i were to do this now, the contribution will be useless once ms3 comes out. So, lets wait. I will also add other capabilites such the ability to chose different methods (eg, air, ground, and so on). Jorge Suarez
  13. There is few things you need to check. The items on your list are not controlled by the shipping module, but let me try to point you in the right directions. Make sure that your "country or origin" is configured properly under "configuration/shipping & packaging" Download and install the uk zones into your zonebase and make sure they list under "Locations & taxes/Zones" Properly configure the "Localizations" section. And you might have to modify your language file a bit.
  14. I think that is your case they should all be blank
  15. Oh ok, the you have a misconfiguration in the shipping and packaging settings. Actually I answered this earlier. Make sure that everything is set correctly under "configuration/Shipping & Packaging/" make sure the following are set correctly: Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship..... Package Tare weight..... Larger packages - percentage increase..... It sounds like you have values entered here or at least the wrong values. Jorge Suarez
  16. Sorry, i confused Nuevo Leon with Leon, which is in the state of Guanajuato. Are you running MS2? No, tax zones should not affect the shipping calculations. Since you are basing rates on weight, do you have wight entered into the products details? If so, I think this problem is beyond the shipping module. There is a problem with your oscommerce installation.
  17. I see you are adding cities and states combined. I also see that not all states are being entered correctly. You need to follow zone guidelines or your shopping cart will never work properly. I see right away that your first region shipping table has the city "Nuevo Leon" whic is a city, not a state. The state Guanajuato. Remeber that you can only entered properly defined zones. Zones are defined in "Locations & Taxes/Zonez." Have you even installed mexican zones to your shopping cart? If you haven't, absolutely nothing will work with shipping. do a search for "medico zones" and install that. Once you have that installed, you have to enter those Zones into the region shipping tables of the shipping module.
